If you're starting Peterson and Taylor... (1 Viewer)

I've read opinions ranging from "AP will still be in there in the 4th" to "AP won't even play in the 2nd half."

Either way, if you are one of those betting on Viking domination this weekend, who does Taylor start in front of for you?

Unless you think they'll get 300 yards and 3 TDs this seems foolishly conservative.

You're starting 2 guys to get one game's worth of RB stats. I would think you have a better option than Taylor.

thinking about putting him in over thomas and moreno. If mike bell can run for 140 it would not shock me to see a stat line of 150+ for peterson and 80+ for taylor (total yards). I agree though a guy should have better options, unfortunately not sure I do.

Michael Bush, Pierre Thomas, Donald Brown, Jerious Norwood in a PPR

EDIT: looks like M Bush may have a more clear-cut role as #2 as per Rotoworld - if that's the case, I think it's hard to start Chester over him.

Possibly DeAngelo Williams
Whoa. I own ADP and Chester in one league and I feel pretty good with leaving Chester on my bench… starting Ronnie Brown and Ray Rice at RB2 and Flex. I like this game for Chester pretty well, but it isn't a stone cold lock that he is going to get more than 7-10 touches this week, so I won't be starting him. - But I guess I'm not thinking that the Vikes are up by 20 points at half either.

Forte and Williams, ehh? Pretty ballsy...

I don't see the Lion's D being able to do much against the Vikes, but I will say this: the Vikings are entering a decently tough stretch as far as scheduling goes. They play v SF and GB, then @ STL, v BAL, and @ PIT and GB. Sure you get SF and STL in there, but BAL, GB twice and PIT? I'd want ADP as fresh as possible for that stretch. If they don't need him in the second half on Sunday, I would expect they give him a rest.

I'd say it's probably a decent bet that Taylor doesn't net more than 10 or 12 points this week, but there are really only 3 games this year that you'd consider making the both back gamble and this has got to be one of them.

My choices are in a point per yard league (60 for tds)

Reggie Bush vs Philly (30 rushing, 30 rec = 60pts)

Chester Taylor vs Det ????

Lendale White vs Houston ????? 50 rushing, 10 rec = 60pts)

Who'd you play?

This is a home game, the Lions will play much better. Having a rookie QB hurts them, but this game will be close, and Peterson will be playing every series besides maybe one where Farve is taking a knee. Chester Taylor will see his usually role. That might be good enough for a flex spot, but if Taylor is your RB2 you are really shallow at RB. Peterson is on a mission for 2000 yards, he will be in the game running hard the whole game.

Ya didn't seem to work to well last week vs CLE D. One guy got it all.
I can see AP with 120yds and 2 TDs, and C.Taylor with 80-100 Yds and 4-6 Rec's.. Id definately consider Taylor this week in a PPR

AP finished with damn good stats last week, but your Browns held him in check for most of the game. I don't know if I would go so far as to predict two TDs for anyone.

I can't, but i want to start him over SJax.

Im thinking of starting Taylor over Marion Barber. Giants Defense tough. (PPR league)

Im a Lions fan so I am tore on this...but man they can not tackle. I think they both go over 100 yards and 1TD each.

At this point Id start Marshall Faulk over SJax.. anyways yea the Browns did ok vs AP for the 1st half but hardly any teams can take that pounding for 4 quarters without softening up a little. He's a beast and im pretty sure we will be part of ESPN highlights for a long time to come with the way he broke 4 tackles -pretty much slapping guys in the face as he broke that last long TD run..

I'm thinking about starting Chesty Taylor over Ronnie Brown... is this a bad idea? I'm in a PPR league.
I am fairly new to these discussions. Are yall making this up like a joke or something? The Bush thread (who are you starting over) was funny, now Chester thread is hilarious.Backup RB's as FF starters? Over entrenched starters like Ronnie Browns? You didn't draft him in late 2nd or early third to bench him week 2, did ya?Anyone considering this is "overthinking". Ironically and sarcastically used here.Bush and Chester will have great FF days on the horizon. Their time is not here yet.

I take it you dont see many Lions games? (who does? except me). Pop the tape in from last weeks game and you will see why. The game is going to be so far out of hand and AP isnt going to be in there in the 4th quarter when Vikings are up by 3 TDS

Really? I have ADP and Chester. I currently have Zach Miller in as my flex. I also have M. Bush, M. Bell.Should I make a change for Chester? (PPR)
