agreed. if you do, you are overthinking matchups. why would you ever bench him if he's gonna play?
23 , 33 ,
1 , x , 20 , x , B , 43 , 15 ,
8 ,
10,
5 , 45 These are WBs FF numbers this year from one my leagues.
This is NOT a typical WB year.
It's potentially a mistake to play him tomorrow based on past history and on name recognition.
Everyone remembers the two 40+ point weeks, quickly forgotten are the 5, 10, 8, 15 point weeks.
Philly is struggling... the Giants are playing great and have a very good D... WB has some significant injuries that are not healed, and won't be for the rest of this season, regardless of what he says.
There's still a chance I might change my mind and put him in tomorrow... I'm fortunate to have a decent backup I can use... I'd rather have WB playing, obviously he's one of the top FF RBs when he's healthy. But like most FF owners, tomorrow's games are key for me - so I really don't want to take too much of a chance of only getting 10 points from my RB1.
It's a tough decision, and no where near the usual no brainer of "plug in WB with no worries if he's playing".
GL to all WB owners tomorrow.
