"I'm glad I didn't draft..." (1 Viewer)

Yeah, I have Brady and Colston on a team, and am starting my rebuilding process.

I do think about guys that I should've drafted a round earlier, etc.

Are there any guys you are glad you didn't get?

Ricky Williams

Braylon Edwards (for now...although, I think he'll be fine)

Easy one for me...Nate Burlson. I wanted him as a WR3/4. Was just never available around ADP in my leagues.

To a lesser extent, I thought Ricky Williams would be a decent late round pick. :D

:boxing:  same here, although I got Ricky. Good thing I missed on Burlson...

Fortunately i didnt draft any Bengals players.

Too bad i couldnt stay away from Rams players too :boxing:

After the draft I was regretting not drafting Chad Johnson in the 4th round (I took Thomas Jones instead). Pretty happy with that decision now.

I was also targetting Rudi Johnson in the 5th or 6th round, but he went in the 4th - glad I didnt take him.

Jury's still out on Schaub, but after missing out on him, I had to settle for Rodgers. (Then traded Rodgers for the guy I was *really* bummed about missing, LBJ).

I passed on SJax, Addai and Brady to pick Gore 4th over all in my PPR. So far so good. (Barber was a keeper or I would have taken him)

Took Housh over Steve Smith. Might end up regretting that.

Tried like Hell to trade up to get Steve Jackson.

Also was pissed when the two picks right before me were Burleson and Galloway.

Being a die hard horn's fan, I bit hook, line and sinker on Ricky. I really wanted him to shine. I was a sucker...

In the first team in my sig, a couple late flyers didn't work out - Robert Meachem and Ray Rice.

In August I dropped Meachem for DeSean when I realized he couldn't run crisp enough routes to move ahead of Devery Henderson, and got rid of Rice since he was my RB6 and Royal looked good.

Addai and Edwards were my first two picks; they'll both come around. Not sweating either one because I built a solid team that would survive either or both being a bust (highly unlikely).

Steven Jackson and Larry Johnson

I may end up regretting Jackson, but I didn't want to go thru the week to week battle over a good back on a really bad team.

Bulger

Vernon Davis

Selvin Young

All of these guys are players that were supposed to be huge value picks that haven't even performed up to their ADP.

Another one is D.J. Hackett -- He is still injury prone and Muhammad is now #2 with Smith back.

I thought Maurice Morris was a great value where he was being drafted. But RB's fell in my draft so by the time it came to select him, I really didn't need him.

He can still emerge later in the year, but the injury and Jones performance thus far means he's not 'breaking out'.

Don't think I would call S-Jax or Chad Johnson sneaky sleepers, so I won't give myself credit on passing on them. The guy I'm glad I did pass on, though, is Ricky Williams ...

Dont think I will regret anything after 2 weeks....too much season left.

Im 2-0 in all leagues even despite some slow starts (MJD , Edwards)

......... now if I was 0-2

Ditto on Burleson... Thankfully, by the time I thought of him, I already had Marshall, Santonio & Cotchery, so I didn't need to take Burleson.

Burlson was a very good pick. Injuries happen.

Isn't it a little early to rejoice over "not drafting somebody"? We've only played 2 weeks.

You can be happy you didn't draft Tom Brady. But I would say the jury is still out on just about everybody else.

No i'm pretty happy I didnt draft Stallworth.

Why would you have wanted Lyndon Baines Johnson? He's dead. Plus, he never had that second gear.

I have (had dumped Bulger) all those guys, and Ricky Williams. Luckily we have a 23 man roster, and start 2 flex, otherwise I may be in real trouble, and I also have Chris Johnson, DeSean Jackson.

Mendenhall-- he went too early for my tastes in every draft and I could see him being cut and not even bagging him off waivers at this point.

Jabbar Gaffney-- thought he'd be a sneaky late round guy, hasn't had a touch yet
