For now, it's gonna be Derrick Ward @ my flex spot. Until MJD shows me some promise, he rides the pine. What about you guys? And if he does show promise, what game will it be? Indy?

if we could flex kickers I would sit him for Jason hanson.
 
Going with Benson or Caddy, which means they will both get hurt this week and MJD will score three TDs! Doesn't it always work that way?

 
Started MJD over Portis two weeks in a row :fishy: so I think I'll go with Portis from here on out, which of course means that MJD will blow up this weekend from my bench - and the rest of you should probably start MJD with confidence. :thumbdown:

I just made the exact same decision.I was a HUGE MJD preseason supporter, but I don't feel like I can trust putting him in the lineup right now. Jacksonville looks like a mess.
 
Yep, I kept SJax and drafted MJD at 2.2 (took CJ at 1.9), so neither of them is doing too much for me so far. I'm not benching SJax yet, but I already benched MJD for ADP this past week, and I also have Portis on the bench. Was hoping for a repeat performance from Chris Brown, as I have him too, but no such luck. One more week of suck from SJax and MJD and I'll be starting Portis and ADP every week!

 
I have a choice between MJD and Caddy, like many of you. For the remaining season I would have them currently rated as equals. However, I do not like the Jags chances of success this week in Denver. If I had to pick today I would go with Caddy.

 
I've a choice between MJD/Caddy/Chris Brown. I imagine I'll be over in the AC at some point.

The question I have is, the DEN run D is giving up lots of yards but not TDs. Will that continue? If so, can MJD have a decent rushing day?

I don't have him...but looking at past drafts he went at 2.03-2.08...a backup RB on the Jags (best case in a RBBC)...results as a #2 pick..your putting him on the bench..I took Edge over MJD, rather have a starting RB at 2nd pick!

Right now I'm really, really wishing I'd done the same thing.
 
I'm still holding out a little hope for MJD...look back at last year, he started out slow the first 2 games of the season and then blew up the rest of the way..still not starting him, but not trading him either...

 
benching MJD and starting Rudi, Bush, and AP in one league.

In another league I'll only start 2 RBs and start an extra WR over MJD, using either Coles or Santana Moss.

I won't start him again until he has at least 2 good games in a row...

 
Bench MJD at your own risk. I have a feeling that MJD is about to hit and hit big!

Broncos defense has given up big numbers to opposing RB for two weeks in a row now.

 
Hold on here, folks. You've invested a 2nd or 3rd round pick in this guy for a reason. Yes, he's had two sub-par games but the Jacksonville coaching staff has publicly acknowledged that they aren't getting MJD enough touches.

He's going to rebound this week and all of you who sat him on the bench will be missing out.

this is a pretty optimistic viewpoint. the JAX o-line has looked bad, and the new love for passing plays really makes me think that the coaching staff are inept.

:link: Please! Not doubting this, but I hadn't seen anything and would just like to read it for myself.

BTW I'm still a believer in MJD, but after signing Fred to a generous contract I'm wondering when the :thumbup: coaching staff is going to turn to MJD again...

 
Keeping him active as I've put up a solid amount of pts this season. 2nd in pts in a 14 team league dispite his crappy performances. I will give him another shot at justifying his draft status.

:rolleyes: If you are going to take the time to criticize someone at least get your facts straight before pissing in the shark pool. MJD has accumulated 22 touches and 101 yards rush/recieving combined through two weeks.After 'struggling' against a very tough SD defense on the road in the first game of the season, Benson had 101 yards rushing in week 2 alone and has a total of 163 yards combined through two weeks. Despite a poor week one Cedric is actually in the top 20 in rush yards and top 30 in fantasy points through just two weeks and oh by the way Benson has twice as many touches as MJD with 45, and he doesn't have a veteran like Fred Taylor or Thomas Jones to share the workload...
 
Caddy. Got SA as my #1.

MJD fell to me in the 5th so im not really stressing too much about it.
