Im starting ___ over Steve Smith THIS WEEK (1 Viewer)

I understand start your studs is a solid theory to operate under and not many people have guys behind smith who they can start and not think they are crazy.

Carr bites and I have kevin Curtis vs the Giants tonight. If it wasnt the Giants i would pass but i think he goes for 80 yds and a small td. No clue what Carr will do so why not take a chance. I am starting TJ as my wr2 this week.

THoughts. Anyone else doing something similiar until Carr shows how he will perform

 
Gl. I was thiking Cutler was going to step up this week until the walker news

YOu like Carr to focus on SMith and think he has a big day?

I'm not sure about a big day, but aleast 250/1td and that I'll need. Hell I've been starting Bulger in this league I'll be happy if you can just get so positive yards.
 
I saw him break out of a pile of 5 defenders for a 70+ yd td ( his third of the day ) a few weeks ago. I know. I like the tone of the feedback, thank you kindly. I will probably re consider and curtis will go off for 2 more tonight. Thats the game... I would never consider a move like this if Jake were not hurting.

You think Curtis can do anything against those great NYG D'backs? Never mind......What this forum needs is another Westbrook thread!!!
 
I don't think Smith's great performances are a result of Delhomme's stellar play. Smith is a remarkable athlete and should be able to make things happen with Carr at the helm. Even A. Johnson did well with Carr throwing to him. I can't imagine benching Smith, unless he's injured.

SMith is back in the line up where he belongs win or lose.

For the record, I dont think curtis is a one week wonder at all. I am on record here as saying he would assume the stallworth role from last year.

I drafted curtis in the 12th round or so and almost dropped him when McNabb looked horrific the first two weeks. It was the Lions, but the eagles dp have a very easy remaining passsing schedule.

Curtis can easily finish top 15 this year

The Giants will jam Curtis at the line, the Lions didn't.
 
Starting him in several leagues but for now benching him in one FBG dynasty money league where I've accumulated Smith, RMoss, and CJohnson and will be going 2 WR with RBrown, Westbrook, and Alexander this week. While I don't expect Brown to go nuts again I also see more change to come up small in Smith this week. Too bad I won't know Westbrook's status until after Smith plays ... I have CBuck atleast as a fall-back.

 
I have Curtis on the bench as well and thought about it for a brief, brief moment... then I remembered Smith beating that teammate up in the film room way back when and imagined him doing that to me if I benched him.

He's in my lineup.

deserved props for having the good sense to sit Smith. looks like a GREAT call :football: :goodposting:
 
Listening to the masses will draft an average team at best and will result in outcomes like this

NOt a terrible mistake to go with smith but i had the feeling and I was right

Lets see what curtis does tonight

Carr is so bad its scary
