I'm starting him over CJ as well..over Chris Johnson and MJD ::fingers crossed::
That's my concern too.For those of you starting Dunn, no worries he may not finish the game due to his back flaring up?also benching Chris Johnson for Dunn, a little worried about that back though...
You must be stack to sit AJ !WR-Andre Johnson-HOU (@CLE)
I don't think it is at all likely for the NFL to suspend Vikings' linemen before this game. It's too late in the week. If they get suspended, the news will come out earlier in the week based on precedence and the fact that it would be unfair to the Vikings to have the team prepare for the game knowing they will have certain players and then find out at the last minute they should have been preparing for things without them. So, IMO you should count on MJD facing the normal Vikings D this week and make your decisions based on that.Either MJD or (Bush or McAllister). Dunn is going to be in there for sure. I'm waiting to hear more about the Vikings' D line hearings before I decide whether to play MJD against them. If Williams or Williams is missing, then the Vikings D becomes just average against the run, IMO. And if they're both out, they're probably below average. I'm also waiting to hear how Bush does in practice today. The problem is that the Saints play on MNF. It's good for Bush as he gets another day and a half to get up to full speed, but it's bad because by the time we know if he's ready to go, the rest of the league will have already played. Contingency planning...Edit: typo
Yep, the NFL typically doesn't hand out suspensions after Wednesday afternoon, they don't even like to issue them that late. The Williams' will play this week.I don't think it is at all likely for the NFL to suspend Vikings' linemen before this game. Well, that does make sense. I guess I'm holding out hope that with a Friday hearing, the NFL would lay down the suspensions starting this week, but I'll admit (even as a Bears fan) that would be unfair. So now it depends on how Bush practices.Regardless, Dunn is in there. I'm excited for Warrick as he's one of the few remaining RB's in the league who is older than I am!Yep, the NFL typically doesn't hand out suspensions after Wednesday afternoon, they don't even like to issue them that late. The Williams' will play this week.I don't think it is at all likely for the NFL to suspend Vikings' linemen before this game. Wow. Never bench your studs? Sure Turner has a "bad" matchup on paper vs CAR, but last week Kevin Smith put up 112 yards against them.I am of the opinion DET will play very tough against TB and win a close one. They are pissed at losing all year and have no intention of laying down just yet.ETA: I'm starting Portis & Turner over Dunn or Chris Johnson.Seriously thinking about starting Dunn over Turner. I may flip a coin to decide.
but it's the Lions....the Lions. Gotta get your players in your lineup against the Lions. Good point, though, about Kevin Smith's performance last week vs Carolina. Like I said, it'll be a coinflip for me this week. Sort of looking for that one extra thing to sway my decision...like the weather report in ATL or the status of an offensive lineman...something, anything to help me decide.Wow. One thing I know about the Lions, it's just when you think something is a sure bet with them that they do a 180. It's called Lions Logic around here in the D. Last year they held Marion Barber to 7 carries in week 14 after getting gutted by ADP & Taylor the week before. But Barber also did have 2 rushing TD's and 61/1 receiving.I guess I'm just saying it's a no-brainer for me to start Turner at home over Dunn @ a pissed off Lions team that got completely eviscerated last week by Williams/Stewart.but it's the Lions....the Lions.
