I'm starting Jason Campbell (vs. ATL) over ____________, (1 Viewer)

Jason Campbell's starting at home against the 30th ranked pass defense of the Atlanta Falcons. He has Santana Moss back and (theoretically) at full speed. Campbell's looked competent for the most part in the two games he started, although there was a long period of time in the last game against Carolina that the passing game was out of synch. He's thrown 2 TD's in each of his first 2 NFL starts, against only 1 INT total, which is impressive.

I'm not enamored of my other options in my redraft league where I'm playing today for a playoff spot (win, I'm in; lose, I'm out), so I'm starting him. (So that this is not confused with a WDIS thread, I won't post my other options.) I'm a 'Skins fan and feel that Campbell will develop into a good QB based upon what I've seen, but I'm far from satisfied about having having my fantasy playoff hopes resting on a QB in his third NFL start.

Is anyone else starting him?

I just chickened out on Campbell. I was planning all week to start him over Kitna and Leinart (and the invisible Byron Leftwich) in one league, but I just changed to Leinart. I'll probably regret it --- Atlanta's pass defense is 30th in the league for a reason.

You are worthless and weak! Now drop and give me 20! :football:

It can now finally be revealed that I started Campbell over Alex Smith  . . . and Trent Green :bag:

:ptts:
