Harvin and Hester. I lost 2 out of 3 leagues last week that I started Harvin, and Hester hasn't been starter worthy for over a month. My WR3BC has simple fallen apart at the worst time.
downside for Morgan is not a ton of balls to go around, and he's still #3 on the pecking order. And when the 9ers get up big, it's all Frank Gore probably in the last 20 mins. And there's no shutdown corner to make it tough for Smith to look Crabtree's way.
Dwayne Bowe, Kevin Walter and Mike Sims-Walker. Sims Walker may have the highest upside of the group, but with the way the Jags have played on the road it's a gamble. Morgan appears to be the safest play given the way his targets have been the last month or so ... not to mention how giving Detroit is to receivers in this Christmas season.

I picked up Morgan to consider as an option vs MSW. I still like Morgan over Crabtree at least right now and for this season in terms of choosing SF WR's.I see no posts here for people considering starting Morgan over any first tier WR's besides Wayne (understandable) and MSW (tough one).Morgan's a bit of a gamble, isn't he? I agree with the above post about what could happen for SF; they run Gore like crazy over DET and you get a game like what happened vs ARI.I also saw that ARI game vs DET last week. It was on the road but DET actually played Warner, Fitz and Boldin well. And then there is Delmars who actually, actually appears to be a decent Lions defensive player, the kind who can affect the passing game. Is that a wild stretch - was that just a one game thing (?), because it sure looked like a not great game for Warner & Co. who just went to Beanie for the whole game to pick up yards.I still have MSW plugged in to start over Morgan.

It was at DET, BUT:In terms of just receiving:Boldin 5/67/0Fitz 4/36/1 (the TD was from the 1 yard line)Breaston: 0/0/0 (yes, Breaston was zeroed)Boldin did get that running TD which was a lateral pass, but that's hardly a downfield big play, that was a 5 yarder.I just can't figure out if this was a one game, on teh road thing or if Schwartz finally figured something out. ARI/DET was supposedly a dream matchup too. SF is no ARI in the passing game.
considering Morgan over Wayne....I just don't see Wayne breaking lose from Revis....I smell a 4 for 39 yds for Wayne....at least Morgan may score on a typically bad Lions D.
