I'm starting Martavis Bryant over __________ (1 Viewer)

Not a lot of spectacular options for me at WR3, but I'm starting him ahead of a banged up Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery, Stevie Johnson, and Marvin Jones.

Plkease hurry back Ben.

Cecil Shorts (Injured) & Nelson Agholor (Suxors)

And yes....please hurry back Big Ben!

Right now I have him in along with Jordan Matthews and John Brown. Allen Hurns and Michael Crabtree on bench. That may change by Sunday morning.

same boat as most of you, not much on my roster for wr's. starting him over stevie johnson, ty montgomerie and quick. passed on picking up klay aiken, think that's just as bad if not worse situation than bryant with vick. might still go with imran in place of stevie johnson, but dunno anything about the guy to trust him.

It was to be Rueben Randle but I'm hearing things about missing practice possible hammy. I hope that's BS.

I had him in there over Aiken and Moncrief but I am thinking otherwise right now with the hammy issue.

I really don't think there is a hammy issue. That's very unsubstantiated right now.

SD may be without both starting corners.

Bryant is a monster.

Debating on starting over Matthews. Might be a Saturday night call

Starting him over Stevie Johnson, Travis Benjamin and Kamar Aiken in one league.
Starting him over Alshon Jefferey(doubtful), Sammy Watkins(doubtful) and Andre Johnson(oof) in one of my dyno leagues.

Starting him over Ameer Abdullah, Marvin Jones, Rueban Randle, Davante Parker in another dyno league.

Sitting him for Maclin, Cooper and Kendall Wright in another, also sitting Megatron... :bag:

Bryant missed Wednesdsy's practice due to an unspecified "soreness". I haven't heard if any reports that he returned yesterday.

Tomlin said the Steelers have until Monday to activate him to the 53-man roster and they may wait until the last minute to do so.

The Steelers could be trying to be coy here because according to league rules they do not have to report Bryant's practice participation until he is activated or it could be a legitimate injury.

Either way it could be risky to start him this week unless you have no other options.

I can't roll the dice on him this week now, especially with a MNF game.

Martavis Bryant - WR - Steelers
FOX Sports' Ross Jones reports Martavis Bryant was absent from Thursday and Friday's practices because he "tweaked" his knee in last Monday's session.
The extent of the injury is unknown, but there are no indications Bryant will miss an extended period of time. This is better news than swirling rumors Martavis had fallen out of shape or was dealing with something off the field following his four-game ban. Barring a last-minute recovery, Bryant will spend Week 5 on the reserve/suspended list, and not play Monday night in San Diego.

This is the info to follow up on before inserting M Bryant into any lineup.

I was going to start Bryant over Hankerson but not now with this news of missing practice. Can't take the risk of zero points.

Martavis Bryant (knee) ruled out for Week 5

Martavis Bryant (knee) is out for Week 5 against the Chargers.

The Steelers aren't expected to add him to the active roster until Tuesday. Bryant, who is coming off a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy, suffered a knee injury in his first practice on Monday. Antonio Brown should see a big number of targets on Monday night, though Michael Vick's questionable accuracy lowers his fantasy ceiling.
