we might find that its Kolby Smith over Priest Holmes..... I dont see how Priest can carry the load, or is he the future....Kolby Smith over Steve Smith (the one who used to be good, not the one who was never good).
Me too Colts Win. I think the plan is for 15 touches or so, but if all things go well, that could increase.T Henry vs the Chiefs
That is a huge amount of guts. Love to see the "old days" causing confusion.A guy in my league (who I play this week) is starting the Padre over Brandon Jacobs.I told him that's a gutsy move...good luck with it.![]()

He's actually intimidated by my team which is why he's taking the long shot gamble. This is an important division game, that he desperately needs to win. What a maroon!!dsrm said:A guy in my league (who I play this week) is starting the Padre over Brandon Jacobs.

If he can't carry the load then that would apply to the following week if his body can't recover quickly enough but I don't think it has anything to do with this week.RussMan said:we might find that its Kolby Smith over Priest Holmes..... Wow.. Talk about desperate!! I'm starting priest over jamal lewisPriest over Jason Wright. Also starting Selvin Young. (LJ hurt, Maroney and T. Jones on bye)
True. That guy is definitely a dark shade of red. What a maroon!!dsrm said:A guy in my league (who I play this week) is starting the Padre over Brandon Jacobs.

I am debating that exact same thing. I had the 4th waiver pick this week, and somehow Padre fell to me....Now I am debating whether it's him or Benson.Priest over Benson. It has been well documented that Benson blows.
Holmes over Portis this week to start alongside Westbrook. Feels like destiny.
A 34 year old guy that hasn't started in over a year and wasn't expected to play at all ever again vs a guy in his prime coming off a 190 yard game? I could see some folks playing him if they had fewer options, but there are very few RBs that should start over Portis.I just picked Holmes up, putting LJ on my IR. If LJ comes back, I cut Holmes.
Talk about coming full circle. I had Holmes rostered during his hey day, helping me to a championship game. The year he got injured he was on someone elses roster and I was having an off year. I traded Leftwich to a playoff bound team desperatly in need of a QB...for LJ who was a cheap keeper at the time. LJ's run that year almost got me into the playoffs, and he helped me to a championship last year. Now, here I am picking up Holmes as LJ gets injured...

Anyone else?

While Priest is definately very risky this week, he has at least a good chance for a TD, possibly more than one - you have to remember that they are going against a pretty poor run D.If you have a back with a terrible matchup, I think Priest is a viable risky move with upside.I would only start Holmes in desperation. IMO he's a bad bye week filler at best. Like LJ, his best hope is to get a goal line carry based on pass interference in the end zone. LJ owner here, so I've been pulling for KC. They just stink.
