In-game injury thread (1 Viewer)

(KFFL) Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (shoulder) left the game early Week 14 because of a shoulder injury and is questionable to return.

Eagles TE Brent Celek left Sunday's Week 14 game against the Steelers in the first quarter with a concussion.

On the Eagles' very first drive of the game, Celek took a shot from Bucs LB Lavonte David and was quickly taken to the locker room. The concussion diagnosis came very shortly thereafter. Celek joins Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy as Eagles' starting skill players sidelined by concussions, and neither of those two are expected back anytime soon. Clay Harbor is the only other tight end active for the Eagles Sunday.

KC WR Dwayne Bowe grabbing knee. Med staff taking a look at thim out on the field right now and they went to commercial.
Dwayne Bowe was sidelined late in the first quarter of Sunday's Week 14 game against the Browns with an apparent back injury.Bowe got kicked hard at the end of a pass play and could be seen vomiting on one knee after the collision. He ultimately walked off the field under his own power and was resting on the bench. We suspect Bowe will be okay to return.Dec 9 - 1:39 PMhttp://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4184/dwayne-bowe

NYJ WR Stephen Hill down with a knee injury. Looked like a tear of ligaments.
Stephen Hill left Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a potentially serious right knee injury.Hill was targeted on a second-quarter, third-down throw down the left side, but he slipped on the damp field surface. He immediately slapped his hand on the turf, grabbed his right knee, and was writhing in pain on the ground. The rookie didn't have a catch yet on the day. Hill has 21 catches for 252 yards and three scores on the season.Dec 9 - 1:39 PMhttp://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/7445/stephen-hill

Bears K Robbie Gould is questionable to return after suffering a calf strain in pregame warmumps.

New didn't surface until game time. The Bears eschewed a 53-yard field goal attempt that they would have otherwise tried in the first quarter. Gould may not kick again the rest of the day.

In case anyone cares, Antonio Cromartie took a helmet to helmet hit from his teammate and is headed back to the locker room.

cromartie back in, definitely got his bell rung but apparently no concussion.

Fred Jackson down, doesn't look good.
Inside of right knee, threw towel over his head and was carted to the locker room. I'd say done for the season.
RW agrees:Fred Jackson was forced from Buffalo's Week 14 game against the Rams with a right leg injury.Jackson took a helmet to his knee/leg mid-way through the fourth quarter, and went down in a heap. He remained down for several moments before limping off the field with assistance. Jackson could put little weight on his right leg. It had the looks of a season-ending injury, though it's obviously too soon to tell. Jackson was the Bills' clear lead back before going down, out-touching C.J. Spiller 9-5 in the first half, and 14-8 for the game. However, he had gained just 30 yards to Spiller's 52.Dec 9 - 3:40 PMhttp://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4506/fred-jackson

Redskins are calling it a sprained knee. Shanahan said it's sore and that Griffin wanted to go back in. They don't really know the extent until he gets an MRI.

Ahmad Bradshaw currently on the bench being evaluated.

UPDATE: back in the locker room, looking at his left knee, return is questionable

Just saw the replay, ewww. I don't know if that is a sprain. It looks like a hyperextension of the knee to me the way it snapped out too far and then back. We'll hear soon enough from teh MRI.

It seems Ray Rice sustained a hip pointer sometime during the game today:

Ray Rice sustained a hip pointer in Sunday's Week 14 overtime loss to the Redskins.

The injury didn't keep Rice out of the game in overtime, so it shouldn't be a major concern for fantasy owners in a huge AFC Week 15 tilt with the Broncos. Averaging 6.1 YPC, Rice gained 121 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries against the Redskins, adding three receptions for 15 yards. The highlight was a 46-yard cutback run in the first quarter. Rice has scored a touchdown or topped 90 yards from scrimmage in six consecutive games.

Rg3 being helped off Cousins in
I'd be shocked if RGIII plays again this season. Hyperextended knee and he looked like he couldn't put weight on it after trying to gut it out.
It was ugly! Would not be suprised if his ACL is not blown out as well.
RGIII disagrees with you:Robert Griffin III downplayed his fourth-quarter right knee injury, but acknowledged that an MRI is coming Sunday night.

It was a good sign that Griffin was allowed to take the podium to speak to the press after the game. The Redskins also let RGIII return to the sidelines in overtime after his initial evaluation. "I'm gonna be alright. Nothing's broken," said a smiling Griffin. "It shouldn't be an ACL. I know what that feels like." Griffin tore an ACL at Baylor, and doctors told him his ligaments felt "good" after sideline and post-game tests. We'll learn more about Griffin's availability for Week 15 against the Browns in the coming days.

It was ugly! Would not be suprised if everything in his knee is shredded as well..looked a little like McGahees.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bz-T1rdwTHY
His ACL is fine. Dr. Andrews is our team doctor and told him that pre-MRI, as far as he could tell the ACL was fine.

 I don't get this. How can anyone, including Dr. Andrews, tell for sure the extent of the damage until doing an MRI/X-Ray? I'm calling BS on this.

He probably was talking about Julie Andrews.

Curtis lofton on the sidelines having his shoulder looked at after David Wilson ran him over.

Lofton back in appears fine.
