Steven Jackson. Most injury prone so it wouldn't surprise me to see him miss 3 or 4 games and finish outside the top 10 in total points.

But he has been top 10 in PPR while missing 4 games each of the last two years anyway?
I guess I just go by my league's settings (.5 PPR, 1 point per 20 yards receiving/rushing, and 6 points per TD). With those settings, he has finished 16th in both 2007 and 2008.

mmk. Actually my league is .5 PPR 1/10 rush 1/15 rec, and he has been 11 both the last two years I believe. If You go full PPR with 1/10 rush and rec I think he has been 9 and 10. Anyway, if he only misses 3 instead of 4 or 4 instead of 5 (last year he had a game where he played 1 snap...) then he jumps into the top 10. I like those chances.

So to rephrase, which RBs have the lowest floors? My list from highest floor (least likely to be outside Top 10) to lowest floor:1. AP 2. SJax3. LT4. MJD5. Forte

Anyone but AP. This is the year he takes #1 and keeps it for quite a few years, spanking everyone else. More records for AP!

I would say LT (old and busted - spirit is there but I have to believe the body is starting to fail) or Forte (I have a feeling about him this year - not so good - I owned him last year).

Jackson, just because he's been injury prone. Then LT because he's a mere mortal now. I think the other three lack competition and have a very secure grip on the vast majority of touches.

 the only RB I feel completely confident with is AD. I like Turner to be top 5 as well, after that nothing would surprise me.

I'll rank them from least likely to most likely.

1) MJD - Never seen less than 40 receptions in a season and been top 10 every year in PPR format IIRC. Now he will see a larger role in the offense.

2) Forte - Is the centerpiece of his offense and thanks to a lack of great WRs he should be heavily involved in the passing game again. Even if you do think he will be less involved you must realize this guy had over 60 receptions last year. I don't think he will drop off much.

3) Sjax - For Sjax it really only comes down to health. I'm not really factoring that into these rankings though as it is too subjective.

4) AP - In 2 seasons AP has only amassed 40 total receptions. As long as Taylor is around AP will not carry his same value from Non-PPR leagues. Add to it that Minn is supposed to get Harvin heavily involved in the passing game (out of the backfield, touches that could have otherwise helped Peterson) and I think he is overvalued in PPR.

5) LT - LT is at the nearing the end of his career and SD has got a great back to spell him with in passing situations, Sproles. I don't think his production will fall off a cliff, but among this group of elite players he is filling out the bottom and no longer the top.

I will do what Jurb did but

1. LT. I think about as safe as it gets at top. He might not finish #1 but I see no reason to think injury and the best O in list

2. Peterson. Always the injury concern in the end but seems pretty close. Not catching many balls hurts

3. Forte. Sophomore slump. Jones coming on a little. Cutler to pass more. There is concerns. Injury is not one

4. Jackson. Injury is the big one. Crap team helps and hurts at time for TD's.

5. MJD. Can he really carry the load. I see injury if they do too much with him. He is the best PPR guy but I see Jennings for TD's

Forte. He was force fed by a QB that can't throw the ball down field well and now has a QB that won't look to check down all day long. He also didn't have a decent RB behind him and while K. Jones isn't going to take his job, I expect Forte's workload to decrease.

Also ranking them from least likely to most likely

1.) MJD - I'd take him #1 overall in a PPR redraft this year

2.) Forte - Don't get why people think he isn't talented.

3.) LT - Might not be a top 3 guy anymore, but he is still very good

4.) AP - Barely finished in the top 10 in my league last year (9th).

5.) Steven Jackson - Reason stated above. There's a decent chance he'll miss 3 or 4 games and finish outside the top 10 as a result.

1) ADP - Barring injury, I figure he is the safest play here. Extra work again in passing game during offseason, an uptick to 30 - 40 reception range could make him unreal.

2) MJD - Uptick in touches presumed, improved OL, and he's already shown that he is productive in the passing game.

3) LT - Easy schedule, incredibly motivated, improved Defense, and he seems healthy. Early on, I was with the naysayers on him, but the more I've read, the more I think LT still has something for us.

4) Forte - Looks like a reduction in touches is coming, new QB doesn't check down near as much, I deffinately see a drop off, but kinda doubt w/o injury he's out of the top 10

5) SJax - Oh... the pain, owned him 3 years in a row now. On a PPG basis, he's a lock for top 10, but will he stay healthy? Kinda concerned about TD opportunities as well, how bad are the Rams this year?

1 Being most suprised, 5 being least.

I'm just gonna say Steven Jackson given his past injury history. Close second I put LT2 simply because they wanna keep him healthy so he'll get spelled a lot by Sproles and the rookie and possibly the future rb for San Diego Gartrell Johnson. They wanna get him in the game and see what he can do. Especially if they're playing with a sizeable lead.

Probably Forte.

If you believe the company line in Chicago, they won't be using him nearly as much in the passing game as they did last year. At the moment Kevin Jones is healthy and looking good, and they want to get him involved in the offense. Now, he could wind up hurt (as usual) and those plans go out the window, but for now Forte would be my choice.

I think the others have a pretty good shot at finishing in the top 10.
