This league was designed to combine all the better rules (subjective, I know) found within the world of Fantasy Football, into a "Best Of" league.
If you're searching for leagues on July 1st, you're probably as much an addict as the rest of us on this forum; and you've come to the right place.
This team will employ a variety of rules that reduce the seemingly unavoidable luck involved in Fantasy Football.
For one, this league employs and "All-Play" style that pits you against every other league member, on a weekly basis. Playing against everyone each week allows us to exclude the terrible luck involved in being randomly scheduled to play against the best RB going against the worst run defense, of course resulting in a loss. But to make matters worse, you scored the second-highest point total that week, and you'd have defeated everyone else.
I've taken a proven original Footballguys rules list, and modified it a bit, but not enough to compromise the integrity of this league.

This league will employ Leaguesafe.com to hold all entry fees, and distribute all winnings.
The buy-in is $60 (approximately $6 of which will go to MFL.com)
The winnings are listed below:
Total league monies to divvy: $60 x 12 = $720 - $70 (MFL) = $650
League Champion: $200
Second Place: $100
Third Place $70
Fifth Place: $30
The fifth place winner is determined by the 4 teams that finished 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th. The 5-8 winner, will play the winner of the 6-7 match-up. And the winner of both games will earn $30.
Total points: $100
Second in points: $80
Third in points: $50
Fourth in points: $20
The inaugural draft will take place a day or two after everyone pays their league dues. It will take place on the Proboards link above.

The starting lineups for the league are: QB, RB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, WR, WR/TE, TE
9 starters + 12 bench + 4 IR slots (available immediately) + 4 Taxi Squad positions (to be filled after the first year of the league).
BoFFL.Proboards.com is a forum already set up to allow for an auction of sorts for the distribution of NFL players to each team.
Each team will receive a mythical $200 Million to use as they wish to acquire NFL-rostered players. You must fill your roster of 21 players before leaving the draft.
Like any other auction, you may not bid on any players you cannot afford. And at no time, may you have more bids out, than money in hand.
Based on Footballguys.com rankings, the top 10 players at each of the 4 positions (QB, RB, WR, TE) will be introduced (40 total per round until the players or money runs out).
Everyone will scan the “QB” forum, the “RB” forum, the “WR” forum and the “TE” forum to find the names of players in their own specific threads.
Clicking on Aaron Rodgers, for example, will allow you to offer him a contract. Someone may outbid you, but you can outbid right back until you either win the player, or you decide the price is too high.
A contract can be offered for a length of 1-4 and the TOTAL value of the contract wins – not the yearly salary.
After 36 hours of inactivity, a player thread is closed. Once all of the 10 players have closed, the next 10 will be introduced.
After everyone has a 21-man roster, Free Agency will begin, as well as the annual 4-round NCAA draft.
Each year, beginning year one, draft picks will be assigned based on the previous season’s record. And these picks are used to select NCAA players STILL in the NCAA. They can be used on red-shirted freshman to seniors, but they must be on an NCAA roster to be drafted. Once drafted, they go into your farm system and they are forever yours until a time that you cut them, or trade them. They will always be listed on the BoFFL.proboards.com forum until a time that you activate them to your active roster, or practice squad. Only NFL players can be on your practice squad and no NFL player can be on a practice squad for more than 3 years.
Scoring is fairly simple:
Passing TDs = 4
Rushing/Receiving =6
Passing yards .04 for each yard
-2 per interception
-2 per fumble
Rushing/Receiving Yards .1 per yard
