IND Def ranked #5 this week vs. Den? Thoughts? (1 Viewer)

Footballguys has Ind Def ranked #5 this week. I know they're playing at home, but I'm suprised to see them that high. I would think that with Cutler and Walker apparently playing, Denver should be able to move the ball. Thoughts?

It's kind of like when a Big10 team steps out to face, say, Appalachian State. There's a whole 'nother level of competition outside the AFC West.

I like the defenses of Dallas, Green Bay, Houston, Miami, Oakland, and San Diego --- in addition to Bears Ravs Pats, and Steelers......all better than Indy's D at home against Broncs.

That's a 38-20 game at Indy this weekend. Dallas plays banged up Bulge and no SJack, Green Bay plays the hapless Vikes O- that could be a 10-7 game, Houston plays Joey Ballgame - now pressing to hold his job again - that's right where Pianoman is at his best, right?, San Diego will somehow find some way to contain Damon Huard, and Oak / Mia is a 13-6 game.

I believe the line of thought is that Indy should be ahead late in this game, allowing them to tee off defensively and perhaps force Cutler into making a couple bad throws down the stretch. I'm guessing the high ranking is more about sack and turnover potential, rather then the idea that Indy will keep Denver from scoring points.
