When the writing was on the wall mid October, I decided to put the Raiders on the back burner and take back my Sundays. Today, I decided against my better judgment to watch the game. A few observations after not watching for a few weeks….
Minshew is just a terrible QB, period.
5 takeaways and a -15 TO margin all season is atrocious and the main reason this team sucks.
I don’t recognize anyone in the secondary besides Moerihg and Jones. Injuries certainly have taken their toll.
Maxx is still Maxx but he’s not enough to over compensate for the pathetic offense.
Who’s this Tyree Wilson guy making plays???
Overall this team is still hard to watch and disappointing, depressing and a laughing stock of the NFL. Nothing left to do but to lose out and fire AP and shoot for a hard reset (again) this time with a rookie QB in their sights. But I’m sure they’ll Raider that up too.

Bad QB play and a bad OC is had to overcome. The defense has been killed with injuries this year. The good news is it looks like we are in good position to get a QB (before today's games we were 3rd overall not sure if anything changes that) and we have a young team. Bring in a good OC and QB and we can win some games.

They were fifth behind Tennessee and Cleveland coming into this week. They are third now behind.the Jaguars and Giants ATM.

Gonna take a lot of lack of effort to pass those two.

Jags going to move on from Lawrence? I think the Giants is the only concern unless they trade away to move down... which is possible but if we like someone, I can see us making that move up.

I don't think the Jaguars are going to move on from Lawrence. But I do worry that they're going to trade the pic to someone more motivated than the Raiders to go get a quarterback. I just want the Raiders to have the pick of the litter, be it Ward or Sanders or that kid from Alabama. Whatever. Even if they make the wrong decision I just don't want them to end up with the consolation prize QB.

We can only hope the Jaguars love Travis Hunter so much they stand pat or only move back to 1.3

If they do love Hunter (I think anyone should love him... the kid is a stud) then moving to 3 works well for them.... it protects from losing out on him (I can't see Hunter falling lower than 5) still getting their guy with extremely low risk of not getting him and they pick up some more draft capital. I mean, if Giants and Raiders are 2 and 3, it is almost a sure lock that both are going for QB's unless they just really do not like what is coming out of college.

Could have said that about CAR and TEN but both went all out and TEN pulled a massive upset and CAR nearly trumped them until the refs got the call from Roger. DAL themselves ripped one out. The players don't quit, they all have something to play for. Free agent contracts, more reps to compete next year, squeeze out one more $5M year before retirement.

The Raiders franchise has been a fraud for 30 seasons now. More than that. They haven't won a Super Bowl since 1983. They haven't had a franchise quarterback since the 70's. The first sign your season was into the tank before the season started is because Raider fans thought Gardner Minshew was the perfect Raider QB because he looked like Kenny Stabler: was that he was Gardner Minshew. Whose only resemblance to Stabler was all about follicles. The next sign next season will be in the tank is that they will still have Antonio Pierce for HC because he grew up a Raider fan.

The Raider brand is old. Stale. Washed. You put them in an new crib in Vegas, they are still the same stale old bad choices Raiders. A 2 win team that has no QB. Who still misses David Carr.

But yet that franchise bets on two to three season on a one year interim linebacker assistant cum HC who will do more damage if they still keep him. Your franchise is the definition of insanity. Because it's "The Raider Way".

Well.... with a depleted roster we took them to the end and should have won. Kind of best of both worlds.... the team is fighting and getting better and we keep a record towards a higher pick.

Now if the refs continue to enforce false starts, illegal formation and off sides against the Chefs all of which they tend to ignore.... this Chef team will not get the SB again.
