.AngryPatriot said:Yeah, yeah, the "tampering" is commonplace, what the big deal? But when commonplace things that everyone was doing/does, like videotape or prepare footballs, are done by the PATRIOTS!!! WHOA! That's a BIG DEAL!!!! It's criminal!

I have no idea who this writer is but I think it's laughable. The Hate has become so transparent that anything said is just noise.
Bashing the Pats has "jumped the shark".
Have at it losers.
Oh, yeaaaaah. That ####### bull####...Now more than 2 months into the "investigation." Do people really think they will have put this much effort into something and then come up with nothing?
Or they can't come up with anything at all or it has pointed to media/ league/ other teams. Now more than 2 months into the "investigation." Do people really think they will have put this much effort into something and then come up with nothing?

well, if I had a job making 20m/yr or whatever, I doubt I'd think about quitting eitherI actually didn't even read it. Goodell bot gonna bot.
MMQB: Did you ever think of quitting?
RG: It never even entered my mind. In fact nothing has entered my mind since the mid-nineties.

You think it's taken 2+ months because of all of the effort?Deflategateare we talking about tampering or footballs? Now more than 2 months into the "investigation." Do people really think they will have put this much effort into something and then come up with nothing?
Depends on what you think the effort is for, I guess, If the effort is to find a way to punish NE, it could take two months to come up with enough evidence to sell it with a straight face. You think it's taken 2+ months because of all of the effort?Deflategateare we talking about tampering or footballs? Now more than 2 months into the "investigation." Sweeet!
Ive heard this in a couple of places, doesn't bother me.Kraft's smoking gun comment strikes me as a very odd thing to say.
My gut reaction to reading that he said it wereIve heard this in a couple of places, doesn't bother me.To me it sounds like hes needling the investigation. What could possibly be taking them so long, there is no evidence to suggest the Pats are guilty of any wrongdoing. Is how IKraft's smoking gun comment strikes me as a very odd thing to say.
interpreted it.
Granted, bias.
I don't interpret Krafts comments like that at all and I can't understand why anyone other than the usual toolbags (espn, haters etc, which I know u r not), would. My gut reaction to reading that he said it wereIve heard this in a couple of places, doesn't bother me.To me it sounds like hes needling the investigation. 1-implies guilt but no proof
2-might want to avoid discussing guns with AH on trial
At the end of the day, the investigation will provide the same results regardless of what Kraft says so I'm not bothered by them. It just seemed odd phrasing all things considered.
I always thought it was kind of an interesting question as to the genesis of all this, and who the axe grinder ultimately was.Where did grigson come up with the idea in the 1st place? Was it a butt hurt Harbaugh? These tools can't win on the field so they whine, lie and smear other orgs to get back at them.
Yeah, I think Grigsons got some serious butt hurt goin on.I always thought it was kind of an interesting question as to the genesis of all this, and who the axe grinder ultimately was.Where did grigson come up with the idea in the 1st place? I wondered if it was maybe harbaugh, but he had such close ties to belichick it was hard to get past that shadow of a doubt.
grigson was actually with the greatest show on turf when we upset their applecart way back at the beginning, and I believe the year he left the rams and joined the eagles organization happens to be the same year we beat them, too.
now that he's got this great new job with the colts things were probably looking pretty up for him, and the pats are back to haunt him with an annual embarrassment --- he might just have turned himself into the joker.
PFT's Mike Florio reports the Jets have filed tampering charges against the Patriots after owner Robert Kraft talked about Darrelle Revis on Tuesday.
Up here in Canada we have a type of offender called a "vexatious litigant". They punish you for it. This is that sort of charge. Petty and stupid.PFT's Mike Florio reports the Jets have filed tampering charges against the Patriots after owner Robert Kraft talked about Darrelle Revis on Tuesday.
The proposal if I remember correctly bans players with eligible receiver numbers reporting as ineligible and lining up outside the tackle box.NFL owners have passed the rule proposal banning the use of ineligible receivers like the Patriots did in the AFC divisional playoffs.
Belichick loses it at the owner's meetings. Cheap owners won't spend on end zone, goal line cams. Go Bill.
UPDATE 7:08 p.m. ET: Three sources who were in the room tell PFT there was no profane tirade from Belichick.
Haha, when will the Salty Haters stop lying about the Patriots? Salty Haters have a culture of frustrated self-delusion.Belichick loses it at the owner's meetings. Helps ease the pain of losing the best corner in the game.
Good find! An oldie, but goodie and apropos for this year. How many coaches write a op-ed for the NYT? Bill did, in 2003. Found on Twitter.
Don't let RoMac leave town without signing an incentive laden contract. Vastly underrated.Pats working out Rolando Mcclain. Would be a solid depth pick up.
