Boys trip to Indy in Sept to see them play HOU. 4 of us.

Where to go, where to eat, where to stay, where to party?

Honestly it's only a wknd, going up early Saturday, leaving Monday morning... But wanna make it count..

Thanks!

Sounds like a captiaving city:lol:
It's a great city.

Hit Massachusetts Avenue (Mass Av) when you get to town Saturday. Go to Broad Ripple Saturday night.

Walk the tailgate parties before the game. I bet nine out ten tailgate partiers will invite you in for a beer or a drink. It's called Hoosier Hospitality, we're serious about it.

and don't waste your time at St Elmo's it'll be crowded, expensive and you can get a good steak in most any city. Buy a bottle of their shrimp sauce to take home with you. Do a search for the restaurants that serve a real Indiana pork tenderloin sandwich and go there.

Ok this sounds much better.

Really looking forward to tailgating.

I work 3 blocks from St Elmo’s and have been once in 3 years.  It was a good steak but nothing outstanding compared to other steaks in other cities.  The shrimp cocktail is a staple but you could always get the sauce as someone noted.

Mass Ave is the best call.  Bars and food.  Bru Burger has good burgers.  There is Bakersfield for Mexican (although I’m partial to Nada on Maryland).  The Eagle has a good chicken sandwich.

Kilroy’s on Broad Ripple is a good sports bar.

Im not sure about places to stay since I live here.  The Hilton on Illinois is nice.  The JW is nice and closer to the stadium.  No one for my company who flies in wants to stay at the Sheraton on Ohio but that may have changed since they centralized some of the bus stuff.  Not nearly the crazy action there used to be around there at the bus stops.
