Indy, NO and NE Running Backs (1 Viewer)

Indy - The Colts have a potent established offense. I think they stick with Rhodes all year as the starter because he has experience in their system and is less likely to leave Manning vulnerable in pass protection. Addai might have more upside, but with their passing attack it makes more sense to go with the solid experienced back.

Get: Rhodes

Avoid: Addai

NO - This is a terrible team, who acquired the much hyped Reggie Bush. There's really no reason not to throw Bush into the mix right away. Deuce is still hurting, and has been on the decline since 2004. There's only one way the Saints are going to put butts in the seats this year, and that's with Reggie Bush. Even if Deuce comes back healthy, I still think Bush will get the bulk of the action.

Get: Bush

Avoid: Deuce

NE - Conventional wisdom tells us that Dillon is older and declining, and Maroney may be ready to take the reigns of this offense. I'm not so sure that that's going to be the case. Belicheck is very hard to predict, and as we saw last season he has no problem of announcing one back as the starter, and then giving another back 80% of the carries during the game. Add to the equation that this will likely be a pass 1st, run 2nd offense and it looks like a fantasy nightmare.

Get: No one

Avoid: All Pats RBs

Are you working with Billy Ball Thorton on this content?

Once again, you are WIDE RIGHT!

FBG's: oh you're crazy

Scotty: am I? or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?

FBG's: it's impossible

Scotty: is it? or is it so possible your head is spinning like a top?

FBG's: it can't be

Scotty: can't it? or is your entire world just crashing down all around you?

FBG's: alright that's enough

Scotty: yeaaaaah!

It's all a rich tapestry
Man, I realize that I am seriously setting myself up here, but I think that you are 2/3 right here. I think Rhodes will see the majority of touches barring injury, but that it will be more like 60/40 with Addai.NE I disagree on. I think If you can get Dillon in the fifth and Maroney in the 7th that is exceptional value.

If one NE back emerges as the #1 guy, then you're right, it will be spectacular value. I believe that BB will utilize one guy in one game, and another guy in the next and we'll have no way of predicting who to start for our fantasy teams. Then you'll have 2 roster spots clogged up by unstartable players.
