This is my first year doing fantasy baseball, and so far I have found it very challenging. One thing I have yet to gain a comfort with is how to approach pitchers. Since they do not start every [delete]week[/delete] (I am having a hard time suppressing fantasy football) day, do you find that you have a lot more pitchers so you can rotate them? Do you use the waiver wire and move them in an out like hot potatoes? Currently I have only 2 backup pitchers, yesterday I had no pitchers playing, is that normal?

Yes it is.What king of league are you in? H2H or Roto?

For H2H - is there a minimum or maximum Innings Pitched each week?

For Roto - is there a maximum Innings Pitched for the year?

Your pitching staff is pretty good - I don't think you need to start churning SP's yet.

If your league only starts 3 OF I would dump Hawpe, he's replacement level in that format.

Don't drop Felipe Lopez, he's a great bench piece that can sub at almost any position. You do have too many 2B's though, hopefully Damon and Pedroia get off to hot starts, maybe you can parlay them into an OF1 that gets off to a slow start.

Unless you start an MI I don't think you need O Cab either, dump him for a pitcher, preferably a reliever.

I wouldn't drop anyone on that roster for Inge. I'd consider dropping Doumit, but that would be it.

Hawpe was mentioned before, but I absolutely would not drop him, no matter what your starting requirements are. There's a good chance he'll be your 2nd best OF, 3rd at worst, imo.
