Injuries and your Lineup (1 Viewer)

For example, you've got to start two players at a postion. Your choices are:

X = an okay start, plays on Sunday

Y = should be an excellent start, if he plays (questionable) on Monday night

Z = should be an excellent start, on Monday night

So are you risk averse, and start X and Z? Or do you roll the dice and play Y and Z (knowing full well that if Y doesn't play, it's too late for you to start anyone in his place by Monday night).

Play it safe or roll the dice? What do you do?

Nice WDIS in the SP.X = any WR3 ranked 15-30Y = StallworthZ = Driver
:D Shhhhh!!!!Seriously though, as a general question--what do you do with your lineups? Do you play it risk averse in a similar position, or do you start the guys with the good matchups and hope for the best?

Risk averse.Let's say your other WR is Braylon Edwards. Now, let's say the range for Stallworth's points are 5-30, with about an equal chance at each result. Let's say Edwards has a range of 3-20, with the same chance as Stallworth. 51% of questionable players started in 2005.(20+19+18....+3)/18=11.5*1.0 (chance of playing)=11.5(30+29+28+...+5)/26=17.5*0.5(chance of playing)=8.75Edwards would be the better play.
