I see the injury report printed in my local paper today, but when I go to NFL.com the lists have not been posted yet.

Anyone have a recommendation for a online good source for weekly injury reports?

Also, when is the official injury report posted on NFL.com?

But is footballguys list accessible to people that do not have a subscription?

I am asking because for several of my leagues a player can be moved to the league IR list if the player appears on their team's IR list. Timing is important because of the waiver wire schedule.

I don't believe so but injury info is emailed and I would think you might consider that a great sorta alert to jump on the WW and worth the subscription fee

I do have a subscription, my concern is some site that is openly available to all league members that can be used as the "official" source for IR.

NFL.com posts it, in time. The team's actual site tends to list it quicker IMO.

IR is an actual transaction so you can always check that way. I like USAToday's transactions page

The problem you are going to have is that coaches do not have to make an offical injury report until Friday. That is why NFL.com does not have one. Whatever news you hear will be pure speculation or coach speak. Coaches don't have to show their hands, so why do it. Some coaches are better than others.

Until Friday, the Doubtful, Questionable, and Probable designations are not given by the teams. If your local paper is printing those tags on Wednesday or Thursday, I would imagine they are basing them on the practice report that is issued on those days as follows:If a player does not practice, they are probably marking him as Doubtful.If a player is limited, he gets a Questionable.If he participates fully, he is labeled Probable.This is woefully inaccurate in many cases, and you shouldn't use it. You'll just have to wait until Friday.
