Yale is #1 with 18 titles. However, last one in 1927.

Edit: 3 Ivy League schools in the top 10
Back then the winner was who made the most extra points. Scores were 3-2, 2-1, etc.
Lol. Hardly. Yale was a juggernaut. 2 Heisman winners, 100 all Americans 28 HOFers
Championships: 1874, 1876, 1877, 1880, 1881, 1882, 1883, 1884, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1891, 1892, 1894, 1900, 1907, 1909, 1927
That’s all hokey stuff though, my Gophers have 7 national championships. I don’t count anything pre-1970.
Minnesota has 6 - Championships: 1934, 1935, 1936, 1940, 1941, 1960
We claim 1904 also.
Michigan won in 1904

They won four years in a row, starting in 1901.

The Gophers were awarded the 1904 national title by Billingsley while Michigan and Pennsylvania were given national titles by other organizations retroactively. All national titles prior to the beginning of the Associated Press wire poll in 1936 were decided retroactively by math formulas or historical resource groups.

Been in MN since 1999

Will Howard seems like he should be playing on Sundays. Some savvy team will pick him outside round 1 and realize oh this guys pretty good actually.

Jeremiah Smith on the long pass. He’s also on my DEVY team

2 more years we have to wait. Man should get the rule changed. Could go 1.1 this draft.
I can wait, I’m immortal

Titans should just draft him
I wouldn’t wish that on anyone

If Arch Manning waits, he might only go 1.2 in 2027 draft.
You may be right. Last WR to go 1.01 was Calvin Johnson…..I believe

ND down 24 half through the 3rd quarter showed a lot of guts and was still in it until that Smith play on 3rd and long.

Judkins should have won offensive player of the game, but they almost always give it to the QB. The Smith catch was the play of the game for sure.

I voted 3. I turned it on, halfway watched it just because it's a championship game, but I turned it off late in the third when it was looking like a blowout. I couldn't have cared less which team won, no good or bad feelings about either. If anything I would have slightly enjoyed ND winning solely for the fact that Brian Kelly left there to go to LSU after saying he wanted to go to a school that could compete for a NC.

My interest for college football took a huge nosedive this year thanks to NIL and the portal as was mentioned upthread. My alma mater is terrible at football anyway so I've always been just a casual fan at best. I didn't watch half of the playoff games this year, and don't really care about CFB anymore to be honest...

Calvin went 1.2, after Jamarcus Russell. Keyshawn was the last one to go 1.1.

Making an exception with a non NFL post. As I want to know the Shark Pool feeling on this. Wondering the interest level from people for this.
Hate both teams, one still owes the Univ of Miami a Trophy from the Fiesta Bowl debacle and then Catholics vs Convicts of the 80s and that's never going to be forgotten
Didn't watch a single second of this game, could care less who won it

-NFL slant, Miami doesn't have a very high pick and have locked up their QB and both WRs for a couple years, just not a lot of interest in prospects either.

For anyone that missed it, these game recaps are excellent
