Interested in using defensive players in your leagues? (1 Viewer)

Are you finally interested in making the leap and using defensive players in your fantasy leagues this season? Sigmund Bloom, John Norton and I are working on revising and updating the instructional podcast series we first recorded a few years ago. Each show will be between 20 and 30 minutes and walk you through how to start using defensive players in your leagues. We'll also be discussing lots of strategy, from the most basic to the most advanced.

Cecil has the first show up today, with the second to follow shortly. We'll be completing the series within a few days.

Thanks for listening and think about giving the defensive side of the ball legitimate consideration (rather than the superficial Team D position) in your fantasy leagues.

IDP 101 -- Getting Started With IDP Leagues

Why and how you should join/start your own IDP league

IDP 201 -- Basic Strategy For IDP Leagues

IDP 301 -- Advanced Strategy For IDP Leagues

IDP 401 -- Expert Strategy For IDP Leagues

Extended primer on defensive schemes and trends and how to scout rookies

Forgive my stupidness, but is there a way to download these so I can put them in iTunes?

A league without IDP is like a ship without its captain... or some other cool phrase like that.

IDP is awesome. Deal with it!

Awesome...One quick request - for it to be truly IDP, there needs to be some hitting. When are we gonna get some on these podcasts?

You can download them directly into iTunes -- search for the Audible (Footballguys podcast) in the iTunes store and subscribe to get these and many, many, many other great offerings from Cecil, Sig and all us other semi-regular contributors.

:lmao: Maybe we can get Cecil to dub the sound of one of Liam's sacks randomly into the show now and then.

Oh yeah I'm an Audible listener, wasn't sure episodes this far back were archived, I'll double check.
Sorry about that, I misunderstood.101 and 201 are recently re-recorded and brand new. The re-recorded 301 and 401 versions will be available soon.If you want to hear the older versions, I can dig them up for you. I don't know whether they'll still be available on iTunes or not.

Nope, my mistake. I'm in a startup right now and had searched for the old IDP podcasts and for some reason I thought these were those and missed they were re-recorded. That is awesome, looking forward to listening to them. :lmao:

Our final two episodes in the series, IDP 301 and 401, are available for download now. All four episodes are linked in the first post in this thread and can also be found on iTunes.

Thanks for listening everybody.
