-Baltimore opens up the offense for their sophmore Flacco.... last season Flacco averaged 26 pass attempts a game and only threw for 30 plus attempts 3 times last year in 16 starts with 38 being his highest. This season in 1 start he had 43 pass attempts. Also, it was the first time he threw for more than 2 tds in a game as he had 3.
-R. Wayne us is line for a HUGE season. He was over looked due to somewhat of an off year last season, but in 2007 people should note that he did have 104 catches for 1510 yards and 10 td's.
-Sanchez was 18 of 31 for 272 yards and 1 td to 1 int and looked quite good. He legitimatley won the starting job. Stafford was 16 of 37 for 205 yards and 3 ints and zero td's against the NO saints defense, it could be a long year again for detroit and maybe they should have started the year with Culpepper for at least the first 4 ish games.
-Remember when TB used to be a feared defense in this league.... the huge trio of Crayton, Austin, Williams helped tear them up for 353 yards with 3 td's and zero ints. Also that was only on 27 pass attempts. Romo only had 1 game all of last year that he did not have more than 27 pass attempts and that was in week 11 where he threw for 198 yards.
-Carlson is a legite player and last years rookie season was no fluke
-This next list of guys have had some fantasy value in the past but I think you can officially stick a fork in these WR's: Chambers, Branch, Galloway, K. Curtis, Engram, Northcutt
-D. Jackson is the only worth while wr to own on philly
-P. Harvin is going to be plugged into many line ups weekly and will dissapoint more often than help
-The trend continues for some of the most frustrating star players to own due to injury concerns after only 1 week: Boldin, McNabb, can soon add to the list Westy, and perhaps new comer to the list LT
-R. Bush will NEVER ever be a good runner between the tackles but he is still valuable in ppr leagues. It is actually mind boggling at how bad he is at running between the tackles. So far here we are in year 4 and he has 424 rush attempts for 1550 yards for an abysmal 3.66 ypc.
-RB's supposedly to be losing status but not yet ready to be phased out just yet McGahee 75 total yards with 2 td's, T. Jones 107 total yards with 2 td's, J. Lewis 104 total yards
-Best feel good story of the year and perhaps comeback player of the year: C. Williams
-R. Moss is still the best offensive player in the game
-Sure it was the Detroit lines, but D. Brees is the best passing QB in the game right now! Better than Brady and Manning. Brees is still only 30 years of age.
-Producing while playing over the last 2 seasons for Mr. Leftwhich: 46 for 77 pass attempts (60%) for 579 yards and 3 td's, also 7 rush attempts for 10 yards and 1 td
-Having a full off season of being able to prepare for life without Plax has really quieted the "NYG's passing game is in trouble crowd" Jerry Reese has put together a complete team that will be competitive for many years to come and should be seen as one of if not the leagues best GM and evaluater of talents
-Fred Jackson is a better than average all around rb in the NFL
-Back from the dead and or did not see it coming; guys who can provide some major fantasy worth going forward, and had very little if any buzz entering the season (many of these guys were not even drafted): Ben Watson, Michael Clayton, Julius Jones, Nate Burlesson, Justin Gage, Todd Heap, Randel El, Mark Clayton, T. Hightower, Devery Henderson, Louis Murphy, Meachem, Legedu Naane, Stuckey
*bolded are the guys of that list i see as biggest pretenders*
