Invisibles Quiz# 999 (1 Viewer)

#1153

got 1, 2, 4, 6, 8

5 looks very familiar, but I can't place it
Got exactly the same ones. 5 and 7 seem familiar and I found 3 with google search but never saw it so never would have guessed it. 8 was tougher than I thought because I immediately thought of the first one and not the “sequel” with a much different name that I forgot.

ditto. I put in the first one and when it was wrongs I thought "bulls*". I had to go look up the sequel name because I couldn't remember it.

Me too on the BS because I was saying GDit, I know that’s Banderas in the middle. I thought maybe there was a sequel I didn’t know about and saw the other one. I’ve seen both but honestly it’s been a long time and I don’t think I ever watched them again. That scene with the guitar cases is something you can’t forget.

So reverse image search actually got the rest of the answers (usually only can get a couple that way).

Here are some hints:
1. Recent best picture Oscar winner starring Aragorn & Cottonmouth
3. Original movie that spawned 3 sequels to date starring Nero
5. 2013 movie set in 70's with ensemble cast starring Hawkeye & Batman
6. PTA movie starring Thanos and one of the Jokers
7. Movie about the media glorifying criminals starring Roy Munson

Nobody got 3? Not clicking on the spoiler yet. 2, 4 and 8 were straight forward.

1 - Aragorn
3 - Another sequel to it just came out and in this scene the other car was stolen
7 - Loved this movie, pretty sure Iron Man was in it with Haymitch

Had no idea on 6, never saw or heard of it. A bit disappointed I didn’t at least guess on 5, just didn’t think hard enough.

Got the ones above plus 2, 5 and 8.
2 is a very oddball movie that I enjoyed and had the no longer living Joker, Willy Wonka, Watson and the smaller Douglas Quaid.
5 is Han Solo’s son undercover
8 is Snake Pliskin and a guy who hates snakes with 6 more folks in a famous director’s movie.
7 is the one I googled so I won’t drop a hint. Also, never saw it anyway.

I had to google and go through the specifics for 7. while I've seen them all at one point, I don't recall enough specifics to know off the top of my head which one this scene was from. just knew that it was from one of them.

good hints for 5 and 8. seen 5 once, but didn't recall that scene. loved 8, so bummed at myself for missing it.

I got the people you hinted for 2 and found a movie. but when I typed that in, it didn't register. is this the movie:

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Yes to 2. I actually looked it up to copy the title. 5 is weird because I only saw previews and never watched the whole movie but I recalled the shirts, remembered it was based in the 70s and knew the two actors.

That's not what #2 is. #2 is a Cohen Brothers movie, much different than the rest of their movies.

Oh crap, you are right. I got that right but must have typed out my response too early. Sometimes when you keep guessing and going back the answers go away.

2 is actually a Netflix movie as well. That scene is Harry Potter’s friend works for Kim’s dad who has a very particular set of skills.

I enjoyed both my mistake 2 and the correct 2. In the correct one, we’ll worth watching. I think I liked the prospector story the best.

now just need to figure out 5. not good on the older movies. I only got 6 because I did a search of what was in the window.

Got 1-5 out the gate, but can't figure out 6,7,8.

Feel like I should know 8, but all my guesses were wrong.

same movie, many years apart. 8 is the remake

I did a google search for "movie bleeker cafe" and got the answer

1 The important person to notice is the guy barely shown in the bottom left. The 3rd movie in this horror set of movies was out of left field and didn’t even have the important guy.
5 While it looks like a dirty bathroom, that’s a red herring. The hat is key.

I just barely looked and I’m very disappointed no one got 1. Recent movie that even had a dance craze for a very short period. I watched the dancing on the Today show and I’ll admit I saw the movie when it was available on streaming for free. I’m not proud but it’s an easy one to guess. I’ll go back and look at the rest.

Looked at last weeks and I’m pissed I didn’t guess #6 (Cube). It was literally the first thing on my mind but I thought it might be one of the sequels because I didn’t remember it ever being green.
