Invisibles Quiz# 999 (1 Viewer)

I got 1, 3, 5, 6 & 7 so far.  Can't place 4.

2 would probably be obvious if I'd seen it.  #8 could be really tough if it isn't a well known movie (not a lot to go on there).
I'd be surprised if people hadn't seen 2. fairly recent comedy with big comedic stars in it.

eta: and 8 is a very recent/current movie. I haven't seen it, but I guessed based on what's going on in the scene.

eta2- 2 being recent... it's 20 years old! cripes. it's this century...which I guess is recent to me these days.

1, 2, 4, 7

hint for 1:

H2O

hint for 2:

the leads brother is a bit more famous, including the bad guy in the remake of Manhunter.

hint for 4:

I gave you a clue once ... ONCE

hint for 7:

they all get naked at the end

I cheated with reverse image search to get these 2. I haven't seen either movie.

 hint for #5:

Actor in scene played the Sundance Kid
hint for #6:

This is #2 of a recent trilogy

Only 3 is stumping me.

6 was a meh sequel to the first one about a street kid who goes to a tailor to get a new suit.

4 is a classic. I didn’t say that. No, but I know this grapevine.

8 the name of the guy on the right saving the boy rhymes with Melba Toast.

Got 3, it was ridiculously easy when I just guessed. First I thought something like Flash Gordon but then I thought some sort of fairy. Let’s just say the guy in blue is pretty big and buff. Nice to get all 8 again. Helps when you’ve seen most.

only 1, 2, 4 at a quick glance

hint for 1:

Real life Eddie named his son after this guy.

hint for 2:

the first movie by the director that likes to do "twist" movies.

hint for 4:

c'mon.  they're shooting a big baseball through a basketball hoop.  really?

5 - Famous book and I just realize both were Marvel movie guys. One big lead and the other a supporting actor for a recent movie.

7 - A city in Tennessee and then you should get it

Lol. I think 6 may be a sequel to 5. It is. I wanted to see what movies the Marvel supporting guy in 5 was in and saw the other guy in a movie poster with that outfit.

I've gotten 1,2,4 & 8

#8 is a really great movie with an all-star cast set in Boston.

ETA: Just got #5 with the clues as well.

#6 is the sequel.  Had to look up the name.

#3 is written and directed by the main actress who does a lot of voice acting...which is connected to the movie.

Ha. I just tried to make that same hint for 3. She's talented and funny (and attractive).

#1094

only know 4 and 5 at a quick glance

Hint for 4:

only a handful of horse movies

Hint for 5:

how many rugby movies do you know?

I watched #8 so I knew that one. Weird movie that was made a bit more difficult as the main actor died during shooting. That’s where some of the other actors came in.

Just saw 2 as well, name tag is a key hint.

Don't know 1 or 6, don’t feel like I saw either, but 3? I’m disappointed in you two.

Hint on 3, that is during a college interview and I won’t give another hint.

I had a short week last week, so I didn't post the one from 3/21  Here it is, but you won't be able to check your answers in the normal way.  You will get all the answers as soon as you hit submit.

#1095

submitted answers for 2, 3 and 5 but I was wrong on #3.

Here is this week's quiz, which you can check in the normal manner.

#1096

I only know 1 and 6

Hint for 1:

arguably 2 of the best tennis players in the world

Hint for 6:

pretty infamous black and white movie with that white jacket

Lol at 1095. I just hit submit to see what I knew and didn’t and lo and behold 1 wasn’t Willy Wonka. I know the movie but man without the faces I never realized how much they looked alike.

#1097

Nailed all of them but 5 and 8.  With such a unique costume for 5, doubt I've seen the movie.

Won't do any hints unless someone asks for a specific one.

I've gotten them all but #7.  Tried a few options and none of them hit (Hunt for Red October, Top Gun, Under Siege).  I'll take a hint there.

5 & 8 hints:

.

.

.

.

.

.

#5 is a popular holiday movie and #8 has part of the title in the picture

Hint for #7

It does take place on a sub.  Two word title with a color as one of the words and something water related as the other word.

thanks for the hints.  that got me to all 8 now.  i've never actually seen #5, but that was enough of a hint for me to get it.

Thanks, got it.  I vaguely remembered the name, but have never seen it.

This seemed like a fairly easy one.

Missed this one, got all but 6. Saw the movie but it was a long time ago and would have remembered other scenes better.

#1098

got 1, 2, 3, 8

I'll give hints if anyone requests them.
Got 4 and 5 as well.

4 should be easy, just think arrows.

5 is an old movie about transformation on a European holiday. I like that hint.

Also, 6 and 7 can be figured out with that reverse image search that amazingly I recently figured out on an iPhone in Chrome. Never saw either so no chance I would have guessed them.

I got 1, 2, 4 and 5 which for me is like a clean sweep.

5 is a heart-warming story about two friends who on go on a backpacking trip in the UK.  One of them is about to become friends with the guy in the picture.

#1100

only know 4, 5, 8
1 is a creature movie and those people just got there. Notice the thing sticking out of the guy.

6 has the key word in the title in the picture, also notice where they are and what they would likely do there (sans Aliens).

7 is a very well known Disney flick.

What is 5? I feel like I’ve seen it. No idea on 2 and 3 is something I’ve heard of many times but never actually watched. I used google image search on 2, 3 and 5 once I knew I didn’t know them and only 3 came back.

3: the actor shown has his name in the title of the movie. Also, he's about to crawl through that door into his own brain.
