I've been using an iphone for over 5 years and still find using the keyboard difficult. Pretty much every single time I type something there's at least one error requiring correction. Whether it's a v where a space should be, or one of the many standard misspellings. And the thing is, sometimes I could swear I typed everything correctly yet there's always mistakes. And fixing these mistakes is clumsy and difficult. All I want to do is erase a letter and type the correct letter, but the phone keeps highlighting entire words and refusing to let me pick a specific letter. It seems quicker to just erase and re-type entire words than to try and fix individual letters. I probably spend as much time fixing as I do typing.
Are there better keyboard options? Or is it just a matter of slowing down and accepting the nature of the beast?
