Im in a league where there is no QB's left on the waiver wire and I have been sitting on Brooks all year strictly as a 3rd QB, is he done for the year or will he come back?

Raiders: Brooks expected back Wednesday

THE NEWS

Raiders quarterback Aaron Brooks is expected to return to practice Wednesday for the first time in six weeks, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. He has been sidelined with a strained pectoral muscle.

Our View

It looks like Brooks will still miss another game this week, so expect to see Andrew Walter back under center Monday night against the Seahawks.

Your guess is as good as mine...

According to this he practiced, but will not start on Monday

Quarterback Aaron Brooks was back in uniform and at practice Wednesday for the first time since straining a pectoral muscle near his throwing shoulder in the Sept. 17 loss to the Ravens in Baltimore.

"It was good to get back into the swing of things, get out here, do a little here and do a little there," said coach Art Shell, who reaffirmed that Andrew Walter would be the starting quarterback in Monday night's game in Seattle.

Brooks, who began the year as the starter, has been throwing on the sidelines all along.

"It's more competitive now, rather than throwing just to a receiver," Shell said. "He's competing against a defense and that kind of thing."

Shell said Walter took Brooks' return in stride: "I think as far as Andrew is concerned, he is more concerned with getting ready for the game on Monday night."
