15th would be high IMHO.10 to 12 RB's, 3-4WR's and PM all before I would consider Benson.I know it's early............At this point I would project Benson going anywhere from the 6th to the 15th pick in a redraft.Am I off????
Ah yes, the "drafting for late season injuries" strategy. Championships are built on this idea.I would rather get Peterson, the back up, late for trade bait when Benson goes down.

guy probably got LJ the year before thoughAh yes, the "drafting for late season injuries" strategy. He high fived another owner and looks over at me like he really had something over me. Then tried a couple of times to rip me off in trades. His plan didn't exactly go well for him........
I could not agree more.switz said:I see him as a third round riskI know it's early............At this point I would project Benson going anywhere from the 6th to the 15th pick in a redraft.Am I off????
I think he may have moved to the second when he got the starting job to himself. There aren't a lot of guys who have a chance to be a feature back, especially on a run oriented team with a good defense and a deep passing game to keep opposing defenses honest. There will be a tier of guys who are either unknown, trying to bounce back from a bad season, the lead in a possible RBBC, or otherwise sneaking into a starting job who all float into the tier in the late second and third rounds; I think Benson is near the top of those right now but not necessarily permanently.switz said:I see him as a third round riskI know it's early............At this point I would project Benson going anywhere from the 6th to the 15th pick in a redraft.Am I off????
Who is to say by the time the draft is done that he still has the starting role to himself? I don't see it happening. The guy has not stayed healthy is split time.I think he may have moved to the second when he got the starting job to himself. Nobody. I'm ranking him the way I do all of my rankings at this point in the season, using the assumption that everything plays out roughly how I think it will. I think Chicago will go with him as their feature back and if they add depth, it will only be as a backup. If they add a quality player, I'll adjust my rankings accordingly.Who is to say by the time the draft is done that he still has the starting role to himself? I don't see it happening.
