RBBC-mate has cracked bone in his foot --- check

Showing signs of his old form last week --- check

Good offense --- check

Underperforming until last week --- check

I like Jacobs a lot as a stock that is going to go up very soon.

i think he was the perfect buy low last week... however, good luck getting him this week. i made a huge trade involving him last week because i had a hunch he'd break out of the slump against AZ. sure paid off given the current situation and his breaking the slump.

because he put up good numbers last week and the whole bradshaw situation breaking out this week, i think you'll have a hard time getting the owners to give him up cheap now. but goodluck.

I traded away Pierre Thomas, Mike Bell, and Steve Smith (CAR) for Jacobs, Bradshaw, and Hester before week 7.

I have ADP as my #1 and thought the combo of Jacobs/Bradshaw would outscore the combo of Thomas/Bell (since we can start 3 RB's and my team is built to do so). I also have Cutler at QB and figured Hester > Smith.

How cheap do you think you can get him for? I doubt he can be had in most leagues for much of a bargain.

I just got him and Jamal Lewis for Knox (from waivers) Burleson and J. Jones. I'll be running with R. White and Boldin at wr and Gore, K smith and Jacobs at rb. I have barber to play matchups. I've only played Burleson once and J Jones was heading to the ww before long.

thats a steal imo... if needed you could always pick up forsett who will most likely be the back of the seahawks in the coming weeks... imo that is.

You have to keep in mind that most people paid a 2nd rounder for Jacobs (maybe a 1st in some cases). He's done worse than expected, but he also hasn't done much worse than a lowish RB2. The bottom line is that if this is rock bottom (and getting under 4 YPC, very few TDs, losing goal line carries to Bradshaw, underperforming relative to Bradshaw, sucking vs. Oakland, and still not suffering his annual injury has to be close to rock bottom), you're still better off than the poor saps that paid a 4th for D. Ward, and you can only go up from here  Especially in light of this week's news.

I'm not sure if it's a buy low, but I'd be willing to trade Jacobs for a 2nd tier WR like Ocho, Jennings, etc. No one is willing to pay that much for Jacobs, though. I wouldn't trade him for someone much lower than that.

In my 20 team league I traded E. Manning and Sproles for Jacobs. Before you laugh we are a larger league and TD's are weighted heavier. I absolutely think Jacobs is a great buy low now. I just had to give up more to get him. Soon the snow will be falling and this team will run and run and run...

Will this turn around? I am a Jacobs owner and may jump ship. I was offered Palmer and Gates for Jacobs.

IMO, the Giants have forgotten who they are - they think their a passing team - and they're a running team. I would expect a renewed committment to the run and ball control.

Gotta agree with this comment. They've lost 3 in a row. Giants best chance of prevailing is by ball control. Expect massive doses of Jacobs and Bradshaw from here on out.

Love the matchup this weekend at home against the Bolts. Coming off a stinging divisional beat down I expect that they will run the ball down their throats.

Jacobs was running very well last week getting yardage in chunks.

Unfortunately the game got out of hand and by the second half there wasn't much call for the running game.

He looks to be running strong and with Bradshaw's tender foot I think the biggest thing working against Jacobs going forward are questions about the Giants defense and its ability to keep the Giants running game relevant for both halves.

2-6-PHI 19 (4:33) (Shotgun) 27-B.Jacobs right end to PHI 14 for 5 yards (21-J.Hanson). NYG-89-K.Boss was injured during the play. His return is Doubtful. 3-1-PHI 14 (4:04) 27-B.Jacobs right tackle to PHI 11 for 3 yards (98-M.Patterson). 1-10-PHI 11 (3:19) 27-B.Jacobs right end to PHI 8 for 3 yards (27-Q.Mikell). 2-7-PHI 8 (2:35) (Shotgun) 27-B.Jacobs up the middle to PHI 2 for 6 yards (98-M.Patterson). 3-1-PHI 2 (1:50) 27-B.Jacobs right guard to PHI 1 for 1 yard (56-A.Jordan). 1-1-PHI 1 (1:09) 10-E.Manning pass incomplete short middle to 89-K.Boss [26-S.Jones]. 2-1-PHI 1 (1:05) 44-A.Bradshaw up the middle for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN.I would love to know why they would be taking Jacobs out of the game on 2nd and goal from the 1? Jacobs is killing me as my 1st round pick in a TD heavy league. Jones-Drew taken one pick before and Chris Johnson taken one pick after. This week: MJD 31 pts C Johnson 33 pts Jacobs 2 pts. I know PTTS.

There have been a few of those this season. Jacobs doing all the dirty work only to have Bradshaw reap the rewards. Its' extremely frustrating, especially when I have Bradshaw sitting on the bench. Jacobs has to start coming through on these TD opportunities. Right now he is a 3rd RB, or very low end 2nd RB, and basicaly a bust this season for where he was drafted by many. And yet again this weeek, I have another tough decision in whether to start Jacobs against a poor SD rush defense or start Benson against Baltimore's tough defense. I can't afford to have YET ANOTHER stat line like this:Starter: Jacobs 19 carries for 71 yards, 0 TDs, 2 rec for 8 yardsBench: Benson 29 carries for 109 yards, 1 TD

I am strongly considering moving Jacobs for Forte straight up.

Forte is done with bye week but has a horrible playoff schedule.. hmmmmmm

Considering the same thing. Forte has been brutal, hoping the last game vs. Clevland might encourage the other owner.
