Is CHI D worth rostering at this point? (1 Viewer)

If you league awards special teams points - like every time Hester returns a kick for a TD. Or every time their defense blocks a FG attempt....then YES!

they got 16 points for me last week...I'd say they are definitely worth a roster spot. Will they be the dominant defense everyone expected? No, due to massive injuries, but they are still better than most.

They've scored 15, 23, 12, and 27 for me each week. That's the #2 defense point wise in that league. I'm holding, and starting.

3 of their rookie defensive players are on IR ... they've got 2 more in IR ... they've got several others injured (including 5 of their top DBs at the start of their season) ... yet they're scoring points. as long as urlacher is playing, and the defensive line stays healthy and continues to rush the pass the way they have been, i say keep ridin em

the only downside to the bears d is points against... because greise/rex throw tds that end up in touchdowns or great field position which hurts the points against

that being said, yes they are worth the spot

Yes they are. Especially considering most people severely overpaid/overdrafted them, they're worth holding onto. Unless you get somebody willing to pay dearly for a defense via trade. That said, if a league doesn't penalize heavily for points allowed, they're still outstanding.

This is the correct answer. For normal defensive scoring, however, they're average because of injuries.

Most certainly worth rostering.. in fact probably a great buy-low right now as like someone else said, teams likely drafted them high, and probably have some other weakness at another position. Exploit this weakness and get the Bears D for when they get up to full strength.. oh, and that Hester Guy..
