I think he will go some where in the 2nd in most drafts but I think he's going to have a big year this season. Even if they don't get Manning to help open up some running lanes, the Titans have already made one major upgrade to the OL by signing Hutch. I think a good run blocking guard is to a RB what a good LT is to a QB. I'm expecting much better consistency out of Johnson. I was very down on him going into last off season and sold him in a few dynasty leagues. I'm looking to buy him back now if the price isn't too steep
Didn't the Titans go into last season with the reputation of having really good O and D lines? Just asking because I keep seeing people addressing this like "we fixed our problem, the line" but from what I remember, I thought that was supposedly the strong suit of the team.If that is correct and I do remember correctly, then I think we have to look and say it was something else and to be honest, I think that something else is that CJ is just a bit over rated. He is a fast guy that gets a lot of attention and had a magical year once but its so very difficult to ever reproduce those 2000 yard years. I don't know; it just does something to players I think. But everytime I get to looking at conversatins about CJ, I see the bottom line numbers but then I see all the times that he is ending a day with like 16/72/0. For multiple years, sans the 2000 years, he kinda has the history of being a very feast or famine guy with 7 games or so each year that look pretty pedestrian. When he blows up, he really blows up and his final totals stack up against the top guys, but I just don't know how much I would want him as my MAIN guy (and especially my first pick). To me, he is the ultimate difference maker guy that you love as your 2nd guy but, week in and week out, the guys I want as the cornerstone, carrying my team, are the fosters, Rices, Forte, Calvins, MJD, McCoys, even the elite QBS; the guys I know who have a floor that is likely to outproduce almost any of my opponents at that position.
