Is Culpeper droppable? (1 Viewer)

I know the Culpeper disaster is still sort of up in the air as far as a timeframe (if at all) for him to return as the starter.....but is this guy really droppable? Or are you standing pat?

Is it a consensus vote that it's safe to drop this guy for a more desirable QB or matchup play? Considering it was his mediocre play and Plummers poor play that put me in a hole clawing to get to 2-3....I'm considering dropping him to bring in Losman/Frye.

Will Culpeper even get his job back if the Phins Docs deem him healthy and explosive again? Everyone saw that the Phins O moved slightly better under Joey and he may even be more mobile for sure.

Even if Joey does happen to play so bad that they have to go back to Culpeper, can't we expect more of the same from Dante....meaning for some, the time he's on the shelf is really just a wasted roster spot. The upside is barely there IMO?

I'm sitting on Plummer, Brunell and Dante so I'm just looking to see if anyone is dropping C-pep outright?

In a redraft? Probably. In a dynasty/keeper league? No way. Still too much potential.

I think it depends on if they keep losing...if they do the team will shut CPep down for this year and get him completely healed for next season....if they rattle off some wins maybe, juuust maybe CPep see`s the field again this season(no matter what he`s way better than Joey)....i would wait alittle longer...thats what i`m doing anyways.

Dropped him in a redraft with short rosters, but I still didn't think it was as easy of a decision as others around here do--it's conceivable, albeit unlikely, that with a month of rest he could be a monster at playoff time. He has a nice surrounding cast...well, except for that o-line.

I will certainly be watching the news/rumors very closely to decide if he's worth picking up again this year.

Competitive 14-team league, 9 starters, 9 backups. Cpep owner just dropped him for Harrington. The only other (current) starting qb on the wire is Walter.

I don't expect anyone to make a move for Culpepper.

To put it another way, one guy's qb situation is so bad (Brad Johnson & Warner) he opted to add Romo to his roster this week over taking a chance on Cpep.

dropped him last week and IMHO a week or two too late...granted i was holding on to him for potential back then, but now it simply doesn't look good. i think harrington will remain the QB until cpepp is 100%, that oline is decimated and therefore they can't get the run game going to set up the pass.

Dropped his butt. Had I been smart I could have picked up someone like Grossman week 3! As much as I want to hate.... he just isn't ready. Now my starting QB is Gradkowski and Harrington.... in Culpeppers defense Warner was a bust too. I bought into both their hyped rankings and got BURNED. :hot:
