Also, the Falcons shuffled their players at weakside linebacker. Rookie Stephen Nicholas played for the entire second half over starter Demorrio Williams. Nicholas finished with five tackles. Williams had just two."He wasn't hurt," Falcons coach Bobby Petrino said of Williams. "Our plans were to play both of them — him and Stephen — and rotate them in there and keep them fresh. He didn't play a lot in the preseason, but we were going to start him and play him in nickel."

But he didn't play Williams in the nickel in the second half. Nicholas played the whole half.
