Is it December in Dallas? (1 Viewer)

Shutout

Footballguy
You know the story; the Cowboys always seem to collapse in December, etc, etc.

Has December come early for the Cowboys this year, especially if Lee is out for a while?

Is this perhaps the "December" of the current Coaching regime as well? Can they possibly be given any more rope to hang themselves?

Dal is in a lot of trouble. If Lee is out for the season, it could get real ugly. Philly seems to be getting hot at the right time and remarkably is at .500.

Good point because you can probably realistically argue that every other team in their division is a lot hotter or trending in the better direction right now. I see the Cowboys as a team that could EASILY (especially if Lee is out) fall to the cellar in a division that public opinion is going to paint as being very weak to begin with.

Being a 9-7 Chargers in the Chiefs and Broncos division is one thing. Being 8-8 in the NFC East is embarassing.

The Saints just did a mind skrew on the Pokes. It's going to take some work to get that Payton-Ryan thrashing out of their heads, yes they're pros but here come the Eagles, Giants and maybe even the Redskins considering what they did last year. Heck maybe they finish last.

Jerry is going to end up with Al Davis syndrome (but without the legendary accomplishments behind him):

- No good head coaches will come coach for him.

- If he does manage to get a coaching staff with some pluck he will be unable to keep himself from interjecting his whims into game plans and roster decisions.

- An owner who hires himself as GM has a fool for a boss.

The defense cannot stop anybody. The stat flashed during the game about Dallas having given up the most yards in a 10 game stretch was telling, and that was before Lee's injury. Start all your players against Dallas. This is going to get worse.

Yes, I know. With some help from Because of Jimmy Johnson.

He's never getting another coach close to that.
