Is Javonte Williams droppable? (1 Viewer)

Hello. 12 team PPR league where we keep 1 year to year. 6 teams make the playoffs
Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 Flex, 1 kicker and 1 defense

My team:
QB- Love, Purdy
RB- Bijan Robinson, Rhamondre Stevenson, Javonte Williams, Keaton Mitchell, Khalil Herbert
WR- J. Chase, AJ Brown, J. Meyers, Diontae Johnson, Mike Williams, Ricky Pearsall, R. Doubs
TE- T.McBride, TJ Hockenson
K- Boswell
Defense - NY Giants (was streaming them in week 10 as usual defense was GB on bye)

I have clinched a win in week 10 so I will be 5-4-1 by the end of week 10. That record has me sitting in either 4th or 5th place of the 12 teams where top 6 make the playoffs.

Here is my question for the group.. I realize my RB is weak. But I didn’t expect Javonte williams to not even attend the game in week 10!! Should I drop him?

Free agent options
RB- Audric Estime
RB Tre Benson
RB Gus Edwards
RB Blake Corum
RB Jaylen Wright
WR- MVS
WR Coker
WR Parker Washington
WR Westbrook Ikhine
WR J Mingo
WR Jon Metchie

Or should I just hold Javonte? I thought he was the best of the Denver RBs but apparently it’s not about playing your best players anymore.
Thank you for your thoughts!!

I tried to get Estime and I blew it. One of the bad things about being in a 12 team league. There is never any talent on the wire.

I guess I will just go back to being middle of the pack and hope to get the lowest seed in the playoffs.

I’m thinking of quitting the league

Javonte is very droppable. Drafted him in 3 leagues. He's now gone from all 3 teams. Even if you lost out on Estime I'd still rather have a long shot league winning upside guy like Corum. That's the thing with competitive leagues like yours. You try to make the hot pickup before they become the hot pickup. If you want safer points, lower ceiling higher floor, go with Gus. He'll get yards. TDs will come.

How do you do waivers? That's part of the strategy. Unless it's ESPN default of worst teams getting top pick ... that sucks. But even simple rolling waivers makes you think. Build up that good number so you have it when you need it. To be honest, I don't think missing out on Estime is something worth beating yourself up over.

Make the playoffs and 3 good weeks and you win the title. I tend to blow it when a have a bye, but win from lower seeds.
