David Thomas is suddenly looking good if you need a replacement for Shockey or have another TE who isn't doing much.

Bo Scaife?? I just picked him up to replace Shockey.

Scaife is definitely a safer pick. Not sure he has a lot of upside. Thomas is a pure risk pick but he's gotten 2-3 catches lately with Shockey in the lineup. He could get 4-5 tonight although Moore's return could mean more 4-WR sets. Thomas did have a target in the end zone last week for what it's worth.

Just picked up Thomas with Shockey out.Now need to decide whether to start him over the more proven Heath Miller. But Thomas in a dome. And it's da Saints.

And that's exactly the reason why I picked Moore to replace Shockey...plenty of targets in the last 2 weeks plus going against KC.....

Seems like few like Thomas to do much in this game. I have a hunch about him. But pure gut feel.

i was kind of disappointed that Dodds didn't update the rankings to reflect that Shockey was out and to bump up Thomas to a higher ranking of some sort to be able to compare to others ranked in the teens .... i was trying to decide b/w various wire wire TEs at the time with Shockey missing and ended up deferring my decision until Sunday

i know saturday night games are not the norm, but you would think someone at FBG would be in charge of a last minute tweak or two ... especially one that didn't come as a big surprise (it was rumored that Shockey might miss this game)
