Top 18-20 likely but not likely that he will be the consistent focal point, week in and week out. Too many guys that ARE those guys (calvin, Welker, Jennings, Steve Smith, wallace, Maclin, Green, Bowe, Stevie Johnson, Britt, Nicks, Marshall, Fitz, Austin, Bryant, Roddy, Colston). Hard to imagine him consistently jumping a dozen or so of those guys.
Colston.. huh? if anything Jimmy Graham is the closest thing to a "focal" point on the Saints in that spread offense.
You're kinda splitting hairs and nit picking if you pluck one name out of the 17 or so I listed. The bigger point is that I listed 2 handfuls of players that are the same or more so the focus of their teams and are very good players that will be the primary targets week in and week out. On the other hand, Jones still must contend with roddy white and the falcons even like to run the ball still more than a lot of other teams. So its very likely that the Falcons can play matchups more so than a lot of these other teams. And there are a few players that were not even mentioned that might have much improved situations next year
(lloyd, Decker, Wayne/Garcon, AJ Green, Mike williams, Sidney rice, Andre Johnson, desean Jackson, Vincent jackson). So, we could really pick apart a few of the fringe selections but in the end, its going to be really hard to honestly think that the falcons will just ignore Roddy and Turner and all the rest and feed Jones so much that he leap frogs 15 or so of these perennial household top WRS. Even if you take the top 4 out of contention (Calvin, Welker, AJ..who I didn't even mention 1st time, and let's just say Nicks for sake of argument, I just can't say its "likely" that he goes each and every week of a season and consistently outproduces ALL of these others: Jennings, Wallace, Maclin, Steve smith, Bowe, Stevis Johnson, VJAX, DJAX, Miles Austin, Bryant, on and on... Just too many proven VERY GOOD players out there to think he bumps them all (especially when Roddy is on the team too).
