Isn’t she an extremely successful model? I would think that takes at least some degree of talent. She also appears to be quite good at branding and marketing.Kylie Jenner appears to have no discernible talent

I don’t know how good a model she is. If she was born Kylie Smith and looked and acted exactly the same, would she be a successful model? I have no idea.Isn’t she an extremely successful model? I would think that takes at least some degree of talent. She also appears to be quite good at branding and marketing.
Forbes magazine says she’s revolutionary in terms of using social media to take celebrity branding to a whole new extreme. But it may be the social media that’s revolutionary, not her. Again, right place, right time? Not sure.I don't get what is so revolutionary here, she sells lipsticks. What am I missing?
That's her sister Kendall. Kylie is more Nicki Minaj with the butt implants and face lifts.Isn’t she an extremely successful model? I would think that takes at least some degree of talent. She also appears to be quite good at branding and marketing.
I thumbed through way too many posts to finally see this. Correct on all fronts.I'd give most credit to her Mom who seems to do a lot of work behind the scenes. And to think this was all started by a socialite seeking fame by following the Paris Hilton sex tape model.
I think we should make choice illegal. That's her sister Kendall. Kylie is more Nicki Minaj with the butt implants and face lifts.
edit: crazy to see her transformation. Doesn't even look like the same girl: https://heatworld.com/celebrity/news/kylie-jenner-plastic-surgery-timeline/
Ah, okay. Thanks for the correction. That's her sister Kendall. Kylie is more Nicki Minaj with the butt implants and face lifts.

I believe I am correct in saying you are pro-Republican, pro-Capitalism, pro-free market. What have these women done that is so vile other than take advantage of free markets, capitalism and wealth like any other billionaire or venture capitalist? The whole family makes my skin crawl. The people that worship this trash need to be put in a mental institution. Put all the Kartrashians on an island together never to be heard from again & the world would be a better place.
Of course they say that. What else would you expect? It doesn't make it true.Seed says Kylie is super involved in the development process and they don’t just sell Kyle a pre-made product.
FYPBilking people is seriously lucrative and she’s clearly fantastic at it.
You don’t have to be a genius to have marketing savvy.
Ok, what if it isn't true and she was just an investor and spokesperson? Why does that make people who are typically pro-capitalism despise her so much?Of course they say that. What else would you expect? It doesn't make it true.
First off, the negativity that I’ve seen in this thread and elsewhere is not against Kylie in particular, but against the Kardashians in general. In fact I get the sense that, even though she’s a billionaire and the wealthiest one by far, she’s nowhere near the most offensive one for most people (that would probably be either Kim or the mom.)Why does that make people who are typically pro-capitalism despise her so much?
Why would being pro-capitalist mean one couldn't criticize someone who has made a lot of money? Part of healthy capitalism is discussion about whether products have the value that people think/claim that they have. Good information is critical for capitalism to work well.Ok, what if it isn't true and she was just an investor and spokesperson? I didn’t say (or didn’t mean to say) being strongly pro-capitalism makes someone more or less likely to dislike the Kardashians. What I meant is I think it’s odd when a capitalist complains about her success.First off, the negativity that I’ve seen in this thread and elsewhere is not against Kylie in particular, but against the Kardashians in general. Second, I haven’t really noticed any political trend to those who dislike the Kardashians. Seems to me to be a pretty broad mix of liberals and conservatives (same for those who adore them.)
That’s fine but I see some criticisms that don’t seem to really be part of a rational healthy discussion but just angry ranting. Most posters here were reasonable and it’s more something I see other places or in real conversation. Why would being pro-capitalist mean one couldn't criticize someone who has made a lot of money? That's fair. Especially since a whole lot of today's "conservatives" who claim to be pro-capitalist definitely aren't.That’s fine but I see some criticisms that don’t seem to really be part of a rational healthy discussion but just angry ranting. I don't hate them. I just don't get the fuss. It seems like a really stupid situation that isn't worth paying attention to. I don't really see any value added to the world.....especially not to the point for them to be as successful as they are. That's fair. Especially since a whole lot of today's "conservatives" who claim to be pro-capitalist definitely aren't.
I definitely think it's interesting how polarizing the Kardashians are. For all the hate they get, there are clearly a LOT of people that like them a whole lot.
