Is L. Jordan really worth this little? (1 Viewer)

Dodds has these players plus about 120 more players ranked ahead of L. Jordan and the trade value # indicates you would should trade Jordan for any of these guys. Isnt there a good enough chance that he recovers from his injury and returns as the featue back to make him worth much more than this. He was a top 5 RB before he went out and his bye week has already passed. I just cant see trading him for some scrub.

Justin Fargas

Antwaan Randle El

Jason Campbell

Clearly, the uncertainty regarding his injury has hurt his value, but I do think it's premature to write him off this completely. Ranking him behind Reed and Gostkowski is extraordinarily difficult to understand.

Return of Rhodes, a big RB with back problems (tend to get worse over time, not better), Fargas' career day, Echimandu, Bush and a certain guy across the valley who may be reinstated soon that has expressed interest in the Raiders...

Not saying I'd trade him for any of the above players, but I'm not going after him either.

KFFL indicates that he'll be questionable for the weekend, which probably explains a lot.

As for the aforementioned Echimandu, he was cut yesterday.

I tend to agree with his back issue will be all year.. Rhodes has more of a shot at being the Raiders top rusher in 2007 and maybe even beyond depending on how Bush progresses.

The real question is "How do YOU feel about Jordan?"

In one of my redraft money leagues Jordan was dealt from the 1st place team to the last place team for Larry Johnson. I tried to start a protest but the trade went through. This was before Jordan got hurt but he may not even miss a game ... how can his value have fallen this far?

Obviously his value has gone down and there are questions regarding his situation, but as of right now i wouldnt trade him for any of those players and i doubt Dodds or most fantasy owners would either if they had Jordan in a personal league. Im just saying i think his ranking in the FBG top 250 is messed up and he should be ranked a bit higher. Right now on the list he is ranked near waiver wire type players in a lot of leagues. But if things go well he could be in a situation to put up some nice numbers during the stretch run of the fantasy season. He has looked good so far this year and if hes the best back on the team they are going to give him the majority of the carries.

 This is exactly why I am desperately trying to trade him for anyone of value this week, b/c I think very soon he will be worth nothing, thus the low ranking.....between his injury, Rhodes, Fargas, and CPep, I don't want any part of him..... :lmao:

He has a couple of rushing TD's in one game and all of a sudden he's a primary goal line option? I don't get it.
He had 5 TDs in the game - how many more would other players need to get for a team to win a game? I will go out on a limb and say that CPep might be back to stud status, but I'm about to post on that same topic (I know you're holding your breath) :goodposting:

well good luck. Frankly, I don't think Jordan is worth much on the on the trade market right now. Let me know what you do end up getting for him, but I'm betting that the player you get won't be worth very much. I'm holding onto Jordan and hoping that he's back to 100% for the late season push.

The ridiculous amount of injuries on my team plays a big part of it as well....I can't waste a roster spot on another injured stud who most likely won't be a stud when he comes back...I had to decide who had more over-all worth....probably won't be able to ditch him anyway...

You tried to start a protest over LJ-Oak for LJ-KC? Please don't ever join any of my leagues.
