Why does RT Sports list LB Avery Williamson as suspended? Is he? I can’t find a thing about it.

It might be tied to him being traded to the Steelers.  With the COVID restrictions maybe there is a delay before he can be active and the website is just categorizing him the same as suspended because they don't have a different designation.  This is strictly a guess.  I have not seen anything about a suspension and throwing out a theory.

Sounds like a logical hypothesis. Hopefully he’s cleared to play this week. The guy could be a monster in Pittsburgh

Due to covid protocols he can’t join the Steelers until Saturday.

He must pass five days of covid-19 testing and a point-of-care test Saturday before he can enter the team’s facility
