Is Marshawn Lynch's value DEAD? (1 Viewer)

Look Fred Jackson has looked as good if not better than Lynch. Lynch is a better short yardage guy with his "beast mode" but damn Jackson looks to be the better runner and all around back!

If I am Jauron I have a hard time taking the starting job from Jackson and not making it a 60-40 split in Jackson's favor.

Sorry Marshawn but that Gun toting is going cost ya more than you know! Your job was stolen right ya and no gun was needed in the process - ya just got straight jacked!

Another thread....yay!How would u know? He has not played yet, do to his suspension!

Do you know why Fred Jackson is looking so much better this year? He's the same RB. It's because Buffalo's interior O-line is no longer a sieve & is actually getting push in the run game, and getting out in front on screens. That hasn't happened the past few seasons with the utter garbage they had at center & guard.

Lynch will be an absolute monster behind a line that can run block. He's had 2 consecutive solid years (& 1 pro bowl) while being hit in the backfield on 50% of his runs.

I am an avid Bills follower and anyone who thinks Jackson takes the job is delusional. Jackson is a solid RB, but he is almost 30 years old. There is 0% chance the Bills trade Lynch away & give him the reins. He will go back to the 35% role that he's rightfully earned.

Yep. Jackson has looked awesome and he will still be a big part of the offense, but Lynch is still probably going to get most of the work once he returns. I think a 60/40 split is likely but Lynch should get the touchdowns while Jackson gets most of the receptions.

i think the Buffalo starting RT is out for the season as of today - could that affect the run game?
I think the main reason they were able to run against Tampa is b/c Tampa was so focused on trying to shut down Evans and Owens, especially after Evans beat them on that early TD.Adding Owens to the team has really helped open up the middle of the field so far. That's a big difference that Lynch should be able to exploit with his hard running between the tackles.losing Butler doesn't help but this line seems to be doing pretty well no matter who is out there. They also had Jon Runyan in for a visit recently.
