Is Matt Jones a viable option down the stretch? (1 Viewer)

With his recent showing this past weekend, anyone think that Mr. Jones can produce down the stretch? Or do you feel he is still too risky to start him with the playoffs on the line?

fyi, in Week 14 he matches up against the Colts.

I didn't get a chance to watch any of the game on Sunday, but from what I read from Del Rio, he had been pretty impressed with Jones the week leading up to the game this past Sunday...

What did it say, that Del Rio said Jones had had a great week of practice prior to? If 100% healthy, Jones should be seen as the #1 receiver for the Jags. Now how much that's worth is another question in itself. I'd put him in the mid-low WR2 range for the last couple of weeks of this season and a definite watcher for next season.

The nfl gamebook shows that Jones still didn't start. Williams and Wilford were the starters and Jones was the third WR. I think he is a risky start down the stretch and would go with another option if you have it.

I don't think you want to go down the stretch with this guy in your starting lineup. He's had a few decent games sprinkled around a very disappointing fantasy season. I really thought he'd have a big year.

i wouldn't even consider depending on any Jax WR for anything more than a shot in hell at a TD for any given week. none will prove to be consistent at anything other than sucking.
