Is Maurice Morris the guy if Best can't play? (1 Viewer)

Any Lions homers out there who would know for sure if Maurice Morris is the guy to go with this week if Best is out?

It seems seems possible/likely that Best doesn't play this week. Turf toe can linger for quite some time. I would think that the Lions would want to give him all the time he needs to return 100% healthy.

To me Morris seems the logical option to get the majority of touches. I don't think that the Lions would rush Smith back into service after being out all season and give him a full work load

Any thoughts?

So if Best cannot go I think Maurice starts with Kevin Smith being worked in

I would avoid at all costs. He will probably be the starter, but Morris did nothing great with Best out, albeit against a tough run D. At GB, the Lions are primed to score roughly 3 points. You also need to worry about Jerome Felton getting some touches too, as he was somewhat effective last week.
