Is Ollie Gordon Worth Trading/Keeping in Dynasty? (2 Viewers)

I'm in a start up 18 team dynasty/keeper league (start QB/RB/WR/WR/TE/FLX.. and a bunch of IDPs). You have a 30 man roster and keep up to 25 every offseason with your keepers really only taking your "last" picks but you lose to free agency any of your players who switched teams in real life.

I have Achane and I've been offered J Meyers for my Ollie Gordon.

I really like Meyers and, as of now, definitely a MUCH better player. But is Gordon the better dynasty player? Should I make that deal or keep Gordon for the possible "upside". Does he even have THAT much upside, especially if they happen to change coaches?

Thanks for any and all opinions!

Depends on your roster and status. Are you in a rebuild? Are you a contender?

These players have value based on what your plan is. They are in very different roles.

I'm kind of in between. It's only week 2 so I'm not considering throwing in the towel just yet. It's a start up league where you pick an NFL team and you get those players (offensive and defensive) on your roster but then keep up to 25 players of a 30 man roster. I am the Texans. Then, there was a standard snake draft, with randomized order for all players not kept plus any players on the 14 NFL teams not represented in our league. I was able to trade for Achane for Bill and Ertz (guy really wanted Commanders) and so my starting offense is Stroud/Achane/Nico/Tet/Fannin/Chubb.

I also have Rice and the rookie WRs so It's not like I'm hurting for WRs but I guess I'm trying to make trades on the margins to keep improving the team to have a chance in the end. I think Meyers is VER underrated and, not only would he add a better flex but gives me the flexibility to make a trade (him or Rice, etc) to keep adding talent. I'm just struggling on how good Ollie really can be, even IF something happens to Achane. Does he have enough potential upside, this season or next, that I could regret trading him away?
