Is Stepfan Taylor a potential lottery ticket? (1 Viewer)

I haven't seen much discussion on him. Everyone seems to assume that David Johnson has the job locked down. Are we sure about that? DJ looked like a significantly more talented runner than Chris Johnson all year, yet CJ had the job on lockdown, seemingly because Bruce Arians' biggest priority was keeping Carson Palmer upright and protecting the football.

Could similar concerns from Arians lead to Taylor stealing the job from DJ? I know Taylor has never really shined, but the same could be said for most of this offense pre-2015. Is it plausible that Taylor (a 3rd year player) proves to be better at pass blocking and protecting the football, making him Arians' preferred choice at RB?

He's pretty below average but he does present value to the DJ owner simply due to situational volume. I'm thinking of nabbing him for the final turd on my bench.

No. He is just not good. He is a warm body that's all. If he gets a shot he may produce journeyman results at best.

The question I have been asking myself as a DJ owner is do I pick up Taylor or stay with Hightower as a cuff for Ingram. Don't think anyone can say until we see and then it will be too late

When it's a coinflip between like players, which situation is more stable? The easy answer is Arizona.
