Is the NFL serious? (1 Viewer)

Crediting Jared Allen with a sack AND a safety when the Detroit QB got lost in the end zone? My god that's awful. A player doesn't get a tackle if a RB or WR simply steps out of bounds on the sideline. Why should this be any different? This seriously pisses me off. Jared Allen may have been the closest to play, but he was a good 3 yards away.

I lost a fantasy game once because Curtis Martin ran out of bounds on an aborted halfback pass and Eric Barton, who was the nearest defender, was credited with a sack.

Weird stuff happens when you play with IDP.

I agree with you actually. How is that a safety and than Trent Cole tackles Roethlisberger to the ground in the endzone but since its called intentional grounding no one gets credit for a sack or safety. Bull#### imo.

When it first happened, Gameday didn't have anyone credited. They showed a replay a minute later during the game I was watching, and I thought I knew why when I saw the play. I was definitely surprised when later he got credited.
