Is there any reason whatsoever to take Jackson over Barber (1 Viewer)

I have the 5th spot and if Barber is available would I be completely foolish to pass him up over Jackson? I've been high on Jackson for a few weeks now even before the Portis injury as I think he'll put up great numbers in the Rams offense this year.

Thanks.

I don't know if Barber will be available since Portis is a question mark, but I'm just debating over that pick. I really really like Jackson, but damn it's hard to pass up Barber if he's available at the #5 spot. I don't even want to think about what I will do in the 2nd round. :wall:

I think there are 31 reasons. (Tiki's age). Or 427 reasons (Tiki's touches last year).

I still like Tiki, but he will definitely not get the workload he got in 2005, and will probably not get as many TDs as he had in 2004. In the mid-first round, I think he's more risky than Jackson.

You should probably think about what you are going to do beyond round 1. I think Tiki will be there at 5 in most drafts. He's just one of those guys that is constantly undervalued. Although he won't be undervalued to the extent of previous years, I think he'll be there at 5. If he's not, then take Jackson.

I agree. I was in a mock draft last week and the 2nd and 3rd round picks were just a confusing clusterf***. The one saving grace in pretty much every league I'm in this year is that it's PPR, so I'm thinking a top 5 WR will be available for me in the 2nd round round and I hope someone like Dunn falls to the 3rd round. Doubtful, but there's always hope.
