Is there any reason why Derrick Ward would be dropped? (1 Viewer)

Someone in my league dropped Derrick Ward in order to get Earnest Graham before the 1:00 pm. deadline but apart from the fact that he was not playing this week, I don't quite understand why he would be dropped in a 12 team league.

Is he gone for the year?

We have a 14 man roster, and I'm considering dropping Ward. Not because I don't like him as a player, it's just that I'm that down on the Bucs. Own Caddy as well - can't carry 2 RB's on the Bucs.

I'm dropping him this week. Combination of 14 man rosters, concerns over Tampa's offense, and bye week issues this week. I am keeping RBs SJax, Portis, Lynch, and Coffee and dropping Ward to cover bye week issues.

I can agree that there are reasons to drop Ward... I just can't see any reason to drop Ward and then turn around and replace him with Ernest Graham. Regardless of how you feel about the Bucs, Ward > Graham (and they share the same bye).

I am contemplating dropping him for Mendenhall. I like Ward and really thought he has potential to be solid this year, but he has been hurt, Caddy had performed ok, and his team does not look good.
