Is there anyway to see how much someone bid on Yahoo blind bidding? (1 Viewer)

If they didn't win? we have an owner who claimed that they bid more for Mike Bell than what he went for. I think they made a mistake somewhere but they are adamant.

Not sure how BB works with yahoo, but maybe he didn't have Bell at the top of his BB priority list and that's the reason why someone who bidded less got him. I know that in MFL you can lose a BB to a lesser bid for this reason.

What happened was I bid $21 and she told me that she bid $30 and that was her only waiver claim. She said she did this at around 10:45 pm (changed from $20 to $30) last night and now she is all pissy because she thinks she should get Bell. She said she even saw her waiver process on the team page. I told her it was more than likely user error but she wasn't having any part of it. I just thought it would be nice if there was a log that might confirm her interest in Bell that showed when she bid and whatnot.

What would anyone else do in this situation. I told her "toguh Break" but she says she is gonna raise hell.

Maybe she forgot to put a drop player in the BB and the result of adding a player would make her roster illegal?

I had the same thing last week happen in my league. Myself and the other owner both bid on the same player. The other owner stated that they bid $50 on a player and I bid only $10 and won the bid. It turned out the other owner didn't confirm the add/drop after changing the waiver amount. You can edit the amount - and click a "confirm" button, but that only covers changing the amount. There is another button that you have to press to get the waiver to go through - if you don't click that, then I think the previous bid still remains - so that is why she might have still seen the waiver on her team page? In my situation - the other owner realized they made an error and it was no big deal. It'd be nice if there was a bid history, but there isn't. Perhaps you can post a message on your league board and walk them through the process for bidding -including changing waiver amoutns so that they know to look for all of the confirmation buttons to avoid this situation in the future. It's unfortunate - but this was most likely user error and not an error with the bidding system.
